Misty Creek Country Club

Played Misty Creek two years ago. Huge improvement in the condition of the course. Financial investment has made a big difference. Afternoon rate of $110 is well worth it for the area.

This course is a bit pricy due to snowbird season, but worth playing. The renovation which opened last fall has seen a number of trees removed. It's fully grassed tee to green.

The greens are burnt in areas but totally understandable due to the water shortages.

Had to check it out after it was closed for a while for renewal. Course is in very good shape from tee to green. Greens are a bit hard and not receptive to approach shots. But tee boxes, bunkers, fairways and berm were nice. Very scenic as always with great wildlife. The rates were probably $40 higher than should have been, but I like variety...so I bit the bullet.

Staying in Florida for the month and looking for a place to play . the course is challenging, it’s in great shape, pro shop, starter, grill room, all great people. Overall great operation. I’ll be back.

The course is fun and in very good condition but the price does not justify it. The staff are usually quite rude and the amenities are very eh. This is the type of course you play every once in a while to challenge yourself but also overpay for the round. This courses conditions is just as good as a private CC or University Park for a nice Muni as an example but they do not offer enough to justify the price. With that said, I recommend playing here from time to time as it’s a good test for your game but not a place i’d pay to play consistently.

Course and staff are great! Clubhouse lacking for food and drinks.

Normally staff friendliness is a 5 but …

We came off the 7th holes and we were a shade over 1.30 into our round. Our 4 some came off the green and a ranger said ( barked ) you’re 2 minutes behind pace . Tremendous. Doing his job

Enjoy the course very much. Some of the green had some sandy spots which I hadn’t experienced on past rounds

Love the deer and all the wildlife. Course is in great shape.

Everything about Misty Creek was excellent except the slow play. If it were me I’d find a way to solve this

However, the starter was extremely rude to my wife and should be let go. He was biased against women and that negatively influenced her view of the course and impacted her game. Course owner has improved the layout and conditions were top tier except some greens were still in rough shape. Overall I would play there again as I play laurel oaks and other nice courses and this is a contender

How is it that we paid $117 on golf now….T time 2:32

The group who T’d off in front of us let us know on 17th hole that they had a different rate .

On their receipt it said after 2 rate $80. ??

Why the huge difference???????

Fun, challenging course with great nature setting and plenty of wildlife to keep your attention. Course has undergone $5 million renovation very recently and is still in the “greening” process. Greens were fast but fair but will need a bit more growing time to hold typical approach shots firmly. Grass around the greens was still a bit thin which made chipping a challenge at times. Fairways were very playable. Traps were excellent with quality fine sand. Services were outstanding throughout. Saw the drinks cart 3-4 times during the round and the ranger at least that many times. Pace of play (less than 4 hours on a Saturday)was great for a tough course with no shortage of hazards. This course will get even better with time. I will definitely return soon.
