Misty Creek Country Club

Only thing preventing an excellent overall was the pace of play.

My 2 some breezed thru the first 6 holes but caught a 2 who were behind a 4 some so slow going

Would have made sense for us to join the 2 done ahead of us . We were at the tee box on 8 I think it was and they hadn’t teed off yet- but they never asked . Never saw a ranger.

Anyway great conditions. Lots of water.

Bunkers in good shape as were fairways and tee boxes

Love the layout here. Quiet, peaceful with great views of wildlife. Also the wall to walk oversees with winter rye is awesome

Cart path was awful washroom out order no access to washroom after the 18 hole.

I played Misty Creek about four years ago, and I think it's better now than it was then. It's not a fancy club like, say, University Park, but the staff is very friendly and I was only there for the golf. There are a number of interesting holes. The course had been overseeded recently, so there was ample grass on the fairways. As always, it's a pleasure to have the wildlife and many tree-lined fairways, which made me feel at home as a New Englander. My only complaint is that, at least on the day I played, the greens were too slow. If you can play Misty Creek for $100 or less, it's well worth it.

The course always tests your game. You better be putting well when you come here. Staff is always fantastic
