Misty Creek Country Club

I can play this course before but the condition of it now was horrendous. We should have suspected that when we pulled in the parking lot and only three cars were there. The entire course needs to be completely redone. I hope to invest the money because it used to be a wonderful course

Several holes, par 4's and 5's where under repair with 200 yard temporary tee's. No for-warning at booking or during check-in. Several greens were in bad shape

Beautiful course, great layout. I really enjoyed it for the second time. There was some construction on a couple holes, but overall a great place to play.

Only my second time to play this course. It was in great shape the last time I played it probably 18 months ago. This time it had several holes under repair and had moved two or three tees much closer due to resodding the tee boxes. Holes 6 & 8 were effectively changed from a 4 & 5 par to a par 3 and a very short par 4. The course was very wet in several places and grass was high. Greens were fairly slow today. Very few people were on the course today. When the tee areas are repaired this is a really nice course and fine layout. I would recommend it.

I've played this course a couple times 2 years ago and it was a wonderfully conditioned course with firm, fast and smooth greens. Now it is a mess. Greens are very poor condition (patchy sandy areas, extremely long and slow). Fairways and tees also are in poor condition, and much of the rough has not been mowed in weeks. Very sad, as this used to be one of my favorite courses and a great layout, but it has really been neglected the past couple of years.

The club seems to be working to get course back in playing condition.

The course is under repair on a few holes and coming along great! They advised us in the pro shop when we arrived!

The staff was friendly and gave directions on how move around the repairs being made!

Fairways and Greens in good shape with a few still being repaired moved the ball to a similar putt and enjoyed the day!

It was nothing like some reviews I read from from another review posted! Things were easy to make a decision on how to navigate the work being done and dodging the sprinklers!

Course at certain times is okay but today it was in horrible shape. Driving range was shut down. The sprinkler system was being worked on and having new wires ran throughout the entire course so along with playing around the crews and their trenches, the sprinklers would just randomly turn on which turned out to be quite the surprise when you’re teeing off or driving by and get soaked. There were 2 holes where the tee boxes were moved for maintenance to a location where they were all together black through white, back to back to back. The tee box locations were so close to the green it turned a par 5 into a par 3, and one was completely under water. Several of the greens I would consider borderline lost and mostly sand. Greens had also just been punched so it made putting quite the challenge. The 18th hole, the most prized hole on golf courses had trimmings dumped in piles all over that looked to have had been there for quite some time. I have been to this course plenty of times over the years and it’s usually a really nice course and well worth the money but not today. I don’t get how you can justify charging full price for a half maintained course. All in all I won’t be back for a while after today. I hope it’s better next time.

Course is going through some work. Tee boxes are being repaired, greens have been aeriated and some bare spots in fairways. Course was soggy due to all the rain, yet they turned the sprinklers while l was playing.

Almost all of the holes are in need of major repairs. Two of the holes they are working on tee boxes so you hit elsewhere making a par four a long par 3 and a par 5 a short par 4. Lots of areas that collect and hold water that shouldn’t. Fairways are patchy. Greens were aerated but not disclosed on GolfNow. Driving range was closed, not sure why. Any aspect of a golf course you could complain about, there are reasons to at Misty Creek CC.

Range was not open and practice greens and chipping area were waterlogged. I understand it has been raining pretty good the past few days but this course has zero drainage. Cart path only for entire track (Understandable) . Puddles and small ponds all over the fairways. Tons of maintenance work being done and two or three tees were moved up from par 4/5 to short par threes. Two different tee boxes has sprinklers on in the middle of the day after having tons of rain and like I said the course was flooded already. Beverage cart came by on the second tee box and was never to be seen again. Greens are as rough as greens get, bring your beach chair cause it’s sandy. I don’t normally write bad reviews but this place was in poor conditions and not one staff member gave us a heads up before paying. All in all not worth the money. Best part of this track is the deer lol.

Awesome layout! Friendly staff. Course was undergoing some repairs but that is always necessary. Greens were slow but exceptional.

Beautiful golf course with large challenging greens

I left my range finder on the cart and returned it. When I called him back to retrieve it, they couldn't find it. I will not play golf where they employ thieves!! Ill never play at this course again. Keep an eye on your stuff if you play at this course!!

After playing today I can’t say it was like it used to be 20 or 25 years ago. A lot of sparse areas around the greens and off of the fairways, tee boxes need some work, though you can put a tee in the ground. Some of the greens were not too good, even though they rolled pretty true but slow! Need to put some money back into the maintenance..Spruce this place up, and it will be a good track again!

Semi-Tight Fairways, small yet accessible greens that putt a little slow on the stimp meter but roll very true. Especially based on the time of year, the couse played great. Great test of every club in the bag and birdies are out there for some of your better players. Fun Course, highly recommend.
