Old worn course and ill prepared staff
We arrived 20min before our tee time only to find out they were "out of golf carts". !? Ok. Well it was 20min till out tee time so no problem. We waited 20min, still no available carts. There are two 4 groups waiting for carts. We ended up waiting an HOUR and 20min for our cart. According to the staff it was due to it being a nice day, the course being in excellent condition, and walkins?! First off, we were pre booked and pre paid for a cart, why were walkins given priority? Second, the course was is fair condition AT BEST. Divots, holes, hardened mud...it was the worst course I've been to, so if THIS is your idea of being in excellent condition....I question your ability to run this golf course. 0/10 recommended.

Sat Tee time
Golf cart paths were muddy.
Charged us the whole price of a 18 hole game with a golf cart.
Made us walk the whole course and play 9...

Good first round
We played 9 holes on a Friday morning. No one behind us and no foot soccer to complain about.

We booked this on GolfNow because it was a moderately priced Tee Time for 18 Holes for two people with a cart for $38. Little did we know when we got there they only have 9 holes and expect you to play it twice. We might have missed this on the course info but we weren't familiar with the area and GolfNow advertised it as 18 Holes. The staff was friendly but the course/clubhouse was extremely run down. We played two holes before realized it was ALSO a footgolf course, with multiple footgolf holes smack dab in the middle of the golf fairways. We didn't think much of it until we realized a couple holes later that there were multiple large groups of people kicking the soccer ball around and playing footgolf on the same holes at the same time. The groups of footgolfers were extremely disrespectful and it was impossible to play through. We were so dissatisfied with the course we just drove back to the parking lot about 6 Holes in and left. On our way out another group of golfers were coming to the same realization and we told them to leave before they even started. They were also mislead. Overall it was my worst experience golfing. The course was poorly laid out and honestly ridiculous that we paid for a Tee Time just to watch groups of 8 people just kicking around a soccer ball on the fairway. Also, shame on GolfNow for advertising 18 Holes and charging $40 which has bought me some really nice rounds where I'm from in Florida.

Great 9 hole course for practice
Greens have come a long way. Was my first time playing in a while and will definitely be playing here a lot more. Great value for 9 holes and the range is in good shape.

Not a very good course at all
Greens are awful. Everything was hard as a brick. To practice for this course hit off some rocks

Short but fun.
Our first time playing here. We were in Austin, so gave it a try. Nice small course. Be ready with your most accurate shots, as holes are short and being on target is the key. We enjoyed it.

Tight Lies.
Difficult to play from tight lies in fairways and around greens. Very little grass. None around some greens.
Greens were in good condition.

You used to find deals all the time for Penick. They have slowly been raising the prices to the point where i do not think it’s worth the price at all. The staff are really nice, and it is secluded so ideal for someone new or knocking the rust off but just not worth the money in my opinion. They are more expensive than some other much nicer and longer courses in town.
