Deer Run at Sun 'n Lake Golf & Country Club

Course in very nice condition. Pace of play was good. All staff were personable and friendly.

My wife and I played the Deer Run course which was in good shape, with only a few greens needing a little attention. My wife played the Aqua tees which really suited her game. Will definitely play again when in the area.

Course conditions were good. Greens à little slower than I would like, but very true. Good layout and enough challenge. Definitely recommend, it's a good value.

I've played this course a few times and it's always in nice shape. The pace of play was a little slow today but there was a tournament earlier in the day that may have slowed things down. Nice restaurant and good food on site.

This was my second time playing Deer Run and it’s a good test of your game. The course is in great shape and the greens are fast and rolling true. They are hosting a Minor League of golf event later this week so the course is set up to play fast and on the harder side. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t wait to go back and play again.

We played the Turtle Run Course, 8:30 shotgun start on a busy Saturday. Finished in about 4 hours and 10 minutes. Most of the players were locals, the staff was extremely hospitable to us visitors and very helpful. Very scenic course, greens, fairways and landscaping were excellent. Tee boxes a bit weedy in spots but doable. First cut of rough a bit deep so at times we had trouble finding a ball. Traps raked out nicely. Nice clubhouse, great bar and restaurant. Recommended.

This was a shotgun start. I order to get everyone of the course a shotgun was scheduled. This worked great. Course was undergoing some irrigation work. There were several holes with new sod. But overall a great day. Played at a good pace.

Had a 9:30 t-time. Got to first tee at 9:30a there were 2 groups ahead of us waiting to tee off. Waited on every hole, no ranger in sight. Otherwise course was challenging and in good shape. Staff was friendly.
