Deer Run at Sun 'n Lake Golf & Country Club

The staff were very friendly and the restaurant and bar were spot on. I enjoyed the layout of the Deer Run course. Hole 17 is a little tricky to know the best lay up spot for a first timer. The greens rolled nicely and were in very good shape. The fairways and rough were sparse on grass on a number of holes which was somewhat disappointing. Appeared to me that there was an irrigation and fertilizer issue. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend playing this course to other golfers.

I errantly arrived 2 hours early for my tee time. The staff graciously gote out within 15 minutes. Had a great time playing along with a couple from NY state. Played in less than 4 hours. When I went into the clubhouse at the end of the round, the staff spoke to me by name, even though I had never been hete before. That was definitely a first and left a good impression. I look forward to playing here again.

The fairways are tight so that makes the course challenging and the staffs were very friendly!

Above average in almost every aspect! 19th hole and restaurant had good food and great waitstaff!

Really enjoyed my first time playing here. Greens were the best part of the course for sure. Multiple tees provide plenty of options for all golfers. Well worth it.

The course is nice but kind of boring. The greens looked really nice but we're not running too fast. The back tee boxes were overseeded and haven't been cut in weeks. I'm sure they don't get too much play back there and want them to grow in nice and healthy. Understandable. The greens can be easily sped up and the tee boxes can be cut, but nothing can be done to fix entitled members. There was a member couple that gave me guff for asking to play through on 10. They thought they owned the place. Overall a nice course for the money.

Everything you would expect from a Championship course. Great practice facilities , friendly staff and a great layout. Will likeluy become members!

First time playing here after always wanting to give it a shot. The course we played , Turtle Run, was beautiful. Being our first time, we were escorted out to #1 as they said it's about a 5 min cart ride. Beautiful layout but be ready as most fairways are kinda tight. Nice sports bar here as well. Cart lady saw her a few times. Had 2-3 restrooms on course with option to get a foam cup with ice and water as a courtesy. And the good ice too. We will be back for sure. If you are around Sebring or weary about the drive to here, do it. You won't regret it.

Challenging but fair. Fairways and greens are amazingly great. Some great risk reward holes. Came down early from Ocala for my sons golf tournament and played Deer Run will definitely be back to play again. Clubhouse and Staff were friendly and accommodating.
