Seven Hills Golfers Club
About
Seven Hills Golfers Club in Spring Hill is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, a relatively secluded location that makes this course a hidden gem. Locals know that the course is one of the best golf values in the area. The links-style layout has appeal for players of any skill level. There are interesting risk-reward opportunities throughout and the fairways are wide and player friendly. The golf course has a few lengthy and narrow holes, which makes it play longer than what's indicated on the scorecard. The layout's par 3s are particularly challenging. In addition to some tricky doglegs, you'll encounter strategically placed bunkers guarding both the greensides and fairways. Your accuracy will be put to the test throughout Seven Hills Golfers Club but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Review
Greens are smooth but hairy and slow.
Prolly rolling at a 7-8
A tad bit expensive for the type of course it is.
Better alternatives in the area...
However if you're new to golf this is a perfect course to learn on
Surprised
The course was 100 percent better from the last time we played (about 5 weeks ago). We were pleasantly surprised at how good the course played. Greens are excellent and fairways nice.
Nice course
Got a excellent hot deal, well worth it, course was in good shape nice lay out small greens in excellent condition not crowded will play again
Good Day for Golf
Course conditions were excellent although play was slightly slow on the back nine. More individuals need to allow others to play thru if they are slower.
Staff in the ProShop were not at all welcoming; rather abrupt but you can't always have a smiling face to greet you. I guess she had a bad day.
Fun and challenging.
Course is in good shape. Pace is usually very good. I had a threesome in front of me that that was all over the place slowing everyone behind them. Greens are in great shape and run very true. Putting speed was very consistent. A fun and challenging course.
greens
Greens are slow, small and no fringe . if you could not find any place else to play and did not want to spend a lot of money this is for you.Area around the greens are horrible ,tee boxes as well.
The greens
The course was great shape. The players should replace and sand their divots. The course other than that was good shape. Had a great day of golf and perfect weather.
Reseeding taking hold
Greens and fairways in pretty good shape after reseeding. Good layout, fast play. Did 18 holes in 3:45. Good value, would play again.
Greens need mowing
Fairways were good, greens well grassed but desperately need mowing
and players need to repair pitch marks. Stay straight and all is good- lots of bare patches in rough.
looks as if the course might be struggling asIt was empty and we only saw two other platers in our whole round!
Bit amazed that we were banned by the proshop from teeing off before our time when there was no body out there.
We arrived 30 mins early ,wnt into shop and immediately told we cannot start before t.ime.
No big deal as we did not e,xpect to. But to then sit avnd see nobody go out or in fact arrive
In those 30 mins made the shop comment rather stuoid. Surel if you can free up future tee times at least you have a chance of getting another booking! Overall a fine course particularly if they cut the greens as they were so long
balls lots their line as they slowed in the long grass.
Regrowth
This course was recently closed and reseeded and is coming back very well. The greens were naturally a little shaggy & slow with a few bare spots which will come with time. Fairways were much better than before. With a little more work and time this course will be an great shape again. Now if they could do something about the cart paths.
Great Value
We have played this course for about 10 years. This year they had just overseeded. The fairways were decent but the greens were just growing in and were very long. They were out cutting them while we were playing. I think in a few weeks the course should be in great shape. Even with the furry greens it was great value and good for working on your game. We finished in just over 3 hours.
Much Improved!!
I had actually stopped playing here because the conditions had deteriorated so much at this course but there was a $10 deal and I decided to give it a try. This course has improved 100%. Everything about it is better. The fairways are being well maintained. The greens are in decent shape. If you stopped playing here because of the conditions of the course I would recommend you give it another try!
Bring an extra towel!
They had just over seeded. in itself no problem. Except for a few holes, greens were puttable. We played just after noon. They were still cutting greens. Seemed a little late.
Big problem with sprinklers. They followed us around the course. Had them set up from 1st hole to last hole instead of the other way around. We got soaked at least four times when sprinklers popped on with no warning.
Talked to the personnel, and was greeted with
"not my problem" attitude. I have always enjoyed this course but the employee attitude has always, in my opinion, sub par.
Big Drop in Quality
I have played Seven Hills about 20 times. It has slowly declined in quality for the last two years and this past Sunday hit an all time low. It was at times unplayable. Of 18 greens, 4 we were able to play. The areas of bare dirt, sand and hard-pan from negligent upkeep ON the green made putting on almost all of them just a formality. On several holes, the quality of the fairways was just as bad. Lift clean and place was replaced by lift, find a grassy spot and continue playing through the minefield. Not a pleasant experience.
Not sure why the dramatic drop in quality, but my advice is save your money...or pay a little more for a better quality course b/c this is not worth the time or the effort. I won't be back.
0 progress
Played this course a few times this year and each time ita has gotten worse. I figured it'd somehow get better bc how could any management think that conditions like they have are worth charging for!? This course is officially a POC. It truly looks, condition wise, as if they dont care. Maybe they are understaffed or something but management needs to think real hard as to what direction they want to take this course bc it has so much potential. My suggestion is to close it if these are the conditions that will be the norm. Fairways look like the rough, greens look like a dog with a skin disease, oh and top of that the pin placements look like they haven't been reset in a few days bc the grass is growing into the cup.
Hello, you are correct. We just closed the purchase on August 10th, 2017 and we have a lot of work to do. It's obvious the prior owner gave up and didn't care about the condition or their customers. That is all going to change immediately. We hired Davey Golf Course Maintenance Division, a leader in this department, to turn the course around. We are also planning on a major clubhouse renovation. So please be patient, we have a lot of work to do and it's going to take some time. We already started cutting the greens back to their original size and are working hard to improve the conditions immediately.
Thank you so much for playing the course. If you have any questions, please contact Nate King, our General Manager on site at Seven Hills Golfers Club.
