Perfect weather and a good pace of play.
The course makes improvement every time we visit, including the pro shop staff. A several months ago, I was somewhat unhappy by the way the woman staff acted like she owned the whole world when I tried to rent a cart after the front 9 because I got sick but I couldn’t quit from the group. She wanted to charge the whole 18 holes rental for only back 9 that I asked for. The other gentleman intervened and charged for 9 holes as before. I also noticed that this woman was arguing with another player when we finished our game. While I was driving into the parking lot I was anxious and concerned if I would meet this woman again but fortunately I didn’t.
We totally enjoyed the game although the pace of the play was a little slower than before but we managed to finish in the regulation time. There were some spots on the fairways and the bunkers needed some more sand. Ponds and lakes were cleaned.

Good course needs some TLC
Played midday from the red tees. Fairways punched about 3 weeks ago; needs time to recover. Some tee boxes uneven, or need grass, or maintained. Several fairway areas thinning or bare. Most greens are in decent shape. If well maintained or in condition, course can be a pleasure and a challenge to play with some holes requiring a fade and some a draw. Windy day added to the challenge. Nevertheless, the great deal from Teeoff.com made playing the course well worth the money.

Nice day at Swensons with my golf buddies. Pace of play was a little slow, a 3 some ahead of us did not know how to keep up with the group ahead of them. As time went on, they ended up 3 holes behind ! They finally let up pass on hole 15 - we never saw the group in front as the were done with 18 by the time we approached 16 ! The course is in good shape for the most part. Some of the fringes around the greens are chewed up as well as the tee boxes could use some work. They are very lumpy and uneven ground to stand on. Practice area looks really good and the Staff was nice. Will be back again.

Very nice course
Got a great deal on this course for a walking rate and it was a great time. Greens and fairways were in great shape and I even saw a rogue fox prancing around. Play slowed down a little on the back 9 and a guy with a tee time ahead of us, jumped in front of us without asking, but outside of those things I would absolutely play here again.

Hour wait from scheduled tee time
1256 tee time.. We were told they were an hour behind and asked if we were riding or walking to be told they have no carts. Then told if we pay we would not be refunded if we decided to cancel. Unbelievable, so you’re an hour behind because you obviously can’t manage the times properly then I’m punished if I pay and decide an hour wait is too long? Maybe if they’d stop cramming tee times every 8 minutes, or have a Marshall that keeps pace of play, or stop allowing 5 somes and 6 somes to go out!!! Obviously I declined the ridiculous ultimatum, decided to have a couple of beers with my playing partner in the parking lot and witnessed multiple 5somes and 6somes and the horrid pace of play. Come on out if you want to wait past your booked time and have a 6 hour round!! Great times. Thanks for wasting my golf day Swenson.

Decent course condition,……, minus the vole & gofer holes, but greens are good!! I would recommend playing there again!!

Pace of play
Always a problem here, they need a marshal to move the people along that think they can hit the ball further than they can. For some reason it usually stacks up the last five holes but too many people have visions of grandeur and think they can hit the ball further than they can and straight

Great course great price
I had not played this course in a while. The course is in great shape considering it’s winter and just had some good storms come through this year. They charge a fair price and the staff is nice.
