Swenson Park Golf Course - The Oak Course

have played course occasionally for 35 years ... best conditions i've ever seen. greens were bumpy, but otherwise it was very good for a muni.

Played Saturday afternoon, 3 pm tee time, called the clubhouse / snack bar on the ninth hole to order a burger and fries at 5 o clock and they were closed!at 5pm on Saturday …WTF.

Since it was Easter Sunday, there was very few golfers so we had no waiting time or big groups. Greens were excellent and the new layout is fantastic!

The course is in great condition perfect spring weather.

The course was in pretty good condition. The green were fairly slow, but in good shape. The bunkers were very good And although the course has many trees, the lower parts of the trees have been removed so the course doesn’t look so cluttered.

You definitely have to drive the ball straight, and for an average golfer it has some pretty long, par threes which would be a challenge for any golfer

Look forward to playing again soon, keep up the great work on the course. The course is in wonderfully condition, fairways, greens, and tee boxes.

Swenson GC in Stockton has a lot going for it like putting greens, pitching greens, driving range, eatery; but most importantly to ALL golfers is the maintenance of the Fairways and Greens. My hats off to the Grounds Keepers, best in San Joaquin county.

This was the most lost I have ever been on a golf course. They have changed the card but not the signage. The cart paths are mostly undefined, and there appears little logic to the layout. One example, hole #10 is the last hole on the front, on the way into the clubhouse!!! Crazy. Local guy told me it has been this way for months.

4 1/2 hours on a weekday. they have marshalls, but they do nothing to increase pace of play.
