The Shores of North River Golf Club

This is a great course to practic your short game on with 10 par 4's and 8 par 3's there are no sand bunkers but several hole have water hazards. However when it rains for a couple of days in a row the course has standing water on the fairways, drainage is poor.

I've never been disappointed with this course. I've always found it to be well maintained and staffs always friendly and professional.

This golf course is an easy/relaxing play. Not tight and not too many places to lose your ball. Overall I like coming here because you can catch a tee time with not many others around you. Also great prices!

I found this course very enjoyable. It was such a pleasure to golf at a course that as not overcrowded. The course is very well maintained. Employees are friendly and professional. I highly recommend North River Shores Golf Course.

I was looking to okay a quick round of golf last minute.It was my first time playing this course and was surprised to say the least. A short course and perfect do hitting a lot of iron shots. Even from the tips taking driver is never really needed. Greens had been punched a couple weeks prior but were healing up nicely and in a couple more weeks should be much improved, fairways were pretty plush and not overgrown. Only real complaint I could have was that a few of the tee boxes were uneven . I would definitely play again when I need to hit a course for some iron work

The course is a Par 66, with no par 5’s. Good course to work on your irons. There was rain the night before, the course lays low and had areas that collect water. Lift, clean, and place is a must. The course was not crowded, especially for it being Labor Day.

One group was a group of four guys messing about and not moving along to next tees per pace of play. Backlogged Al other groups behind them until they were informed of that. Group after them and before our trio were a dad and two boys all three in one cart which most courses do not allow plus despite the course being very busy on a Sunday this father decided it was a good time to take his time and teach golf to the boys. He got a bit bullying when I hit into him accidentally (actually ball landed at least 20 feet behind him) and although I yelled “four” and apologized he was trying to give me attitude then I believe purposely slowed down more not keeping pace of play and slowed us down eleven more for at least 45 minutes. Luckily one of us went ahead and called the pro shop to speak to both groups. Back nine went quicker for us and we were able to play thru and beat the rain. I like the casualness of this course for Sunday golf tho many players seem to play it too casually on busy days which causes big backups. Not conducive to hot weather as you just want to finish in proper round time

Staff all very friendly. Course layout nice for all levels of players. Some water on the fairways, but you’re in Florida. Rained a lot this week. Greens were fair. We enjoyed our round.

The course is in great shape. Very nice restaurant and bar with fresh food and fantastic service

Fun little run; just wish they'd mention that they had just punched the greens.

Nice range. Pretty decent fairways for the area. Biggest problems: (1) Tees have not been redone for decades. They are small and crowned. It’s sometimes hard to find a level stance. (2) Hard, crowned postage stamp greens that are therefore sometimes hard to hit with even a good shot. But the course has decent fairways and practice range, and it’s relatively inexpensive. So it’s ok for practice.

A round, a hotdog and a beer for $24! Not to shabby. The course is fun. Makes ya think a bit due to narrow fairways and small greens. Not a long course but you have to manage your way around.
