On a very windy day in February we still had a great time.
Greens in pretty good shape
Weather was perfect and that's probably why we had to wait on the front 9. I guess late fall is when everyone is trying to get their last round of golf in.
Great improvement
The new ownership has tremendously improved this course! Fairways are in spectacular shape, and the greens get a 8.5 out of 10.
Needs work
Tee boxes we in bad shape, doesn’t look like the tee blocks have been moved in a month. Some tee boxes haven’t been cut in a while. Fairways were ok. Greens had been cut but lots of grass clippings on the greens and most had burnt spots on them. Pace of play was slow as they allow 5 some’s and there were a few there, also no starter so we were behind 3 singles that should have been paired up but no starter to make that happen. Did a $25 golfnow but wouldn’t pay anymore than that.
I should’ve looked at the layout first. Luckily I had a few coupons so only paid 5$. I wouldn’t play there again for 5$. I’m okay with a couple dog legs, but I hit my 9 iron off more tees than my driver or woods. If you’re not in the fairway, plan on hitting off dirt. Tees and greens were descent for the money.
