Needs work
Tee boxes we in bad shape, doesn’t look like the tee blocks have been moved in a month. Some tee boxes haven’t been cut in a while. Fairways were ok. Greens had been cut but lots of grass clippings on the greens and most had burnt spots on them. Pace of play was slow as they allow 5 some’s and there were a few there, also no starter so we were behind 3 singles that should have been paired up but no starter to make that happen. Did a $25 golfnow but wouldn’t pay anymore than that.
I should’ve looked at the layout first. Luckily I had a few coupons so only paid 5$. I wouldn’t play there again for 5$. I’m okay with a couple dog legs, but I hit my 9 iron off more tees than my driver or woods. If you’re not in the fairway, plan on hitting off dirt. Tees and greens were descent for the money.
Great day of golf
The course was excellent. I cannot believe the TLC the fairways, Tee boxes and the greens are in
Great fun course
Not bad I was an hour early they were slow so they let me play whenever I was ready. I was solo came across two 4 somes and they let me play through was done in just over two hours. Love the course and the dog legs forcing you to use your irons!

We enjoy playing Warrento, it’s a little slow at times, but it’s always in great shape
Painfully slow pace
My wife and I played on a Sunday afternoon and expected it to be somewhat slower paced as is the normal here. We didn’t expect it to be THIS SLOW. We were behind an older couple which the wife was wearing jeans on a pretty hot and humid day. We soon figured out the reason for the jeans. She would play a few holes here and there, the other holes she would disappear into the woods “ball hunting” to finally reappear somewhere around the green. The husband would chip onto the green then walk all the way back to his cart and shout that he was getting ready to putt, signaling her to hurry up. We would then wait for them to finally leave the green side. If this wasn’t frustrating enough they still had to wait for the foursome of drunk guys in front of them to each hit multiple balls off each tee, then look for all of the balls they hit. This was a relatively cheap round at $24 each, but was not worth the frustration. After 4 1/2 hours we quit on hole 16 after watching the foursome hit at least a dozen balls into the lake and woods while two groups waited on the tee box. The person in the clubhouse apologized, but no one addressed the problem.
Fun course
Course was in good condition and the greens and pin positions provided for a good challenge. Several short dogleg holes created some scoring opportunities and the par 5 yardage was shorter than most. Clubhouse manager allowed my twosome to start on a different hole to avoid a large group of 10 players with several carts just getting ready to tee off which was appreciated. Only took just over 3 hours to play 18 holes. Would recommend this course if you want to relax and have some fun.
Dog legs, dog legs, dog legs
Full course, fairways and greens were in great condition. Back 9 has some really sharp dog legs at short yardages which makes it “odd”. Some good scoring par 5s. Really fun greens, with some good slopes. Will definitely be back.
