Great quick round
Excellent layout for a quick 9. Played with 2 friends, none of us are making the Tour anytime soon, but we played well enough that even walking we wrapped the round in about 1h 35m. 6pm tee time when the weather was great. Only issue was that the stop cart rentals with the 530pm tee times. Understandable given the maintenance hours, just wish I had seen that earlier.
Pace of play
The slow pace of play is a real problem. This is the second time we played recently and both 9 hole rounds took well over two hours. That would be at best normal at a regulation course, but this course should have a pace of play at about 1:30 to 1:45. There was no apparent effort either by signs, reminders or even an occasional course ranger to keep people moving. At a minimum, when people check in they should be advised what the expected pace of play should be. 10-12 minutes per hole should be plenty of time.
Good practice round
Good place to work on your game. $25 is a little pricey for this place if you don't live in Somerset County. But you can usually get a quick none in here in about 11/2 hours if not too crowded
If you plan to do 27 holes at Neshanic, start here
Very good nine hole course to warm up at. No need for a golf cart as it is not a hard course to walk. Very good shape too.
Well kept and challenging!
Played from the back tees. Nice walkable 9 hole course with a couple driveable holes. Played the 18 hole course before which was also beautiful. Gnats were a bit of a problem bring some bug spray! Other than that very nice and well kept course. Will come back!
Best day! Supposed to rain, but it didn’t! ⛳️☀️
Great time! Course was in great shape! Nicest people/staff…
Great Little Course
The narrow fairways offer a challenge. This is a great course for anyone looking for 9 holes abs wanting a challenge.
