On Wisconsin
Pro shop manager was awesome. Great deals on merchandise. Cart paths and sand traps need work. Otherwise course was good.
Save the Sandpiper!
Amazing open course with unbelievable potential. They are shutting it down in April to build more home :( because that’s what we need in Florida is more freaking homes!
Good round
I hear that the course is closing,to bad
Course is easy to play and a great pace of play.
Greens are way undersized…
10-20 years ago I bet this was a nice course. It’s missing a lot of trees, understandable right after a hurricane but some of them have been gone a decade and are rotting stumps. The fairways are okay at best, but the real problem is the greens which haven’t been cut to where they’re supposed to be in 10+ years. The 1/2” you miss on the mower has shrunk the greens 4-10 feet from where they should be, making them impossibly small, and not in a fun, challenging way. The bunkers are hard and half dirt, need a lot of fresh sand, some have been left to turn back to sod, but look like garbage. For $50 in peak season, it’s not pricey, but it’s tough to say it’s a good value either. There are other courses that offer better conditions and value in W. Central Florida…
Not bad
Greens were in great shape, fairways were ok. Bunkers need a lot of work
Not too shabby
Wish we could have got a coffee before the round, had a frost delay, but overall not too bad!
Lack of beaverages and slow play without ranger
No drink cart on a Saturday when the course is full is not good . Going in to the club house for food and or drink slows play . The back nine on oaks was very frustrating as play was very slow without a ranger pacing play .
Solid Course with Slow Pace of Play
We played the day after a big rain, and it started out foggy. The course in general was kept in nice condition. Good tee boxes and greens. It was waterlogged in places (11th fairway and most bunkers), but hard to tell what they would look like on a normal day. Biggest complaint was we had an 8:12 tee time and didn’t tee off until about 20 minutes later because the course was already so backed up. We were waiting on almost every shot, though the round was about 4.5 hours.
