Golfer Reviews
Great place to practice your accuracy
At first glance this course you might think what? With power line towers start going around the course, but when you get into this executive links course layout, you realize that this is a perfect place to get your game to the next level. Every hole is a different challenge that makes you think about placement. The course is tight and unforgiving if you you aren't in the fairway.
Recently punched greens
Pace of play was ridiculously slow. To be expected for a Saturday, however started me on back nine between to sets of foursomes.
No warning of recent greens aeration. Would not have played if I had known.
Not worth it
Greens are the worst in Atlanta. No need to line up a putt. Pace of play is awful. Could be a fun little course if the greens were in the slightest good shape, and if you didn’t have to wait 3-5 minutes to tee off each hole Spend a little more and play anywhere else.
Bad Value for the money
I come here often with my friends, and we have never thought it was worth the value. You have to play around soccer golfers and the landscaping crew most of the time. There are multiple turf tee boxes due to poor lawn care. Some of the greens have weeds growing out of them. Overall poor golf course, especially when you factor in the price. Even though it’s only around $25, it really isn’t a good value.
Convenience/Quick Play
Always appreciate the relaxed atmosphere to play a less than 3 hour round of golf. The course is taken care and always in terrific shape.
Course in great shape - watch out for the soccer players
The course itself was in great shape and the grounds keepers are doing a good job handling all the rain we have had.
Issue is the soccer players that started two groups behind us but quickly over took groups of golfers and did not seem to understand any course manners. Shouting and yelling as we were teeing off 20 feet away. They seemed to just charge ahead of golfers already in the fairway as if they were the only ones there. Next time I guess I'll need to check and make sure that no soccer groups are playing near my tee time!
Great practice round
Hard to find a better spot in Atlanta to practice on course/playing conditions (vs range). From the back/black tees, there is a decent mix of yardages off the tee and a few par 4/5’s sprinkled in among a majority of par 3’s.
Course looked quite green and lush, greens in good shape. Overall, excellent value to further develop and refine your game, or enjoy a “lower stakes” round.
Will gladly be back in the near future to keep hacking away!
