Under repair
Challenging layout but 6 greens under repair with temporary green in fairway. Ruined the experience
Course shortened without any heads up.
It's Chastain, so it's not like I'm expecting a ton, but very disappointing getting out there to find at least a third of the course has greens in the middle of the fairway while work is being done on the actual greens . There is just a sheet of paper on the front door of the clubhouse, but paying full price, booking it online without any notice this would be the case, it's frustrating to say the least,
Worse condition of any course
Absolutely horrible conditions. This place makes Candler Park look like Augusta. This place has a lot of potential, but good gosh the mgmt. team needs to be replaced ASAP.
Poor conditions
Tee boxes and greens were not good, multiple holes with greens closed and temp flags up in the fairway. Won’t be back in the near future.
Course needs a lot of work
The course was almost unplayable. The greens on the front 9 were terrible. My friend and I ended the round after the front 9 due to the course conditions.
Green was super horrible
Fairways was bad, all of the greens was super terrible, no parking, don't go here. Will not come back!

Greens were in very bad condition. Tee boxes littered with tees.
Greens are horrendous
The layout is great and the fairways are ok but the greens are unplayable. Several are completely lost and the rest are so hairy and full of dead spots that it's impossible to get a true roll. Would not recommend. There are other city courses at similar prices and in much better condition.
Not really worth the money
Played this course for the first time in a few years. Had high hopes when I saw the fairways but once I got to that first green…oh boy are those in trouble. Not sure what’s going on there but they need some help. Almost impossible to put on. Also the bridge being down and having to take a dirt trail through another hole was kinda ghetto. I’d rather play Alfred Tup before I ever go back to chastain.
Week Day Golf
Great time w 2 friends. Enjoyed ourselves very much. Obviously the greens need a tremendous amount of upgrading. I WILL be back.
Disappointed
I am shocked and displeased how this course has gone down hill. They have the worst greens in the State. For those that are not aware, this Course is located in an exclusive area of town. No excuses. . This Course is own by the City . We as a community got to do better.

Not good, even for a muni
Candler park has better greens currently and that is NOT a compliment. Disappointing conditions (especially on the green) make competition and practice difficult.
READ BEFORE PLAY
this course has an amazing course layout love the layout. But there are a few major problems. 1 the green are terrible putting on a road would be better grass is patchy and too high. 2nd their is no parking which is terrible as you kinda have to park far away. last why can you not book a cart at all times only at select times you can book this place with a cart. As one of the only affordable courses in atlanta that is also in a nice area it is sad to see the potential go to waste. last my teamate forgot his shoes and the club house didnt have any and fluf off.😢
Needs Some TLC
The course is in deplorable condition. Greens are unplayable…,maybe worse I’ve ever seen. Fairways had as asphalt. No drinking water on the course. Rerouting due to bridge outage. Very limited parking.
Greens Ruin an Otherwise Solid Course
Greens need major work. There are bare areas with sand and the remaining grass is too long, around an inch, so putts do not roll true. The layout has potential and the rest of the course is decent. Fix the greens and this could be a good track. As of now, reviews were accurate and I will not return.
Not good
I have played this course several times. All of the greens and tee boxes are in horrible condition. The location is good except for parking.
