Each green had four types of surfaces within any one 5 foot putt.

Sand

Divot hole

Actual green quality grass

Thick grass

Putts that should go in were diverted by holes or clumps of grass. And at least one putt that a golfer in my party had given up on because it got diverted got a second diversion back into the hole. We would’ve laughed if it wasn’t so horrible.

It was a super slow Monday morning and my round with a friend started off in an annoying manner. Instead of asking me what my name and tee time was I was met with aggression and a series of questions like. When did you book? Who did you book with? Have you ever played this course?

I could have played the race card but for now we’ll go with “profiling” me and a friend as not your typical Monday morning golfer. Won’t be returning for some time and neither will my group of friends.

This is a travesty. This is maybe the worst shaped golf course in the city right now. I’ve played this course over 100 times, and it has been completely let go. The greens have no grass. The tee boxes have no grass. The bridges across the water are falling apart, and no one seems to care.

When you factor in that it is a six hour round, you are going to have more fun burning your money than spending it here. Even at an affordable price, you cannot help but feel ripped off.

The City of Atlanta needs to stop fooling itself into thinking it can handle running a golf course. Please turn the operation of this course over to a third party. We need someone competent to restore it to what it could be.

Do not walk. Run away from this course.

Greens were pretty terrible, even for my low expectations with the government run course. Pretty good besides that. Could charge $30 more if they would fix the greens.

Multiple locations are permanently flooded with one washed out bridge

Hello! Due to weather and course conditions, my tee time at Chastain Park Golf on January 23, 2026, was canceled by the course. The course will reopen on January 27th.

Could you tell me if I am eligible for a refund money or Refunded amounts will be available as an account credit and can be used against prepaid amounts on my next booking.

Great course...get there early cause finding parking could be a bit challenging.

Totally unannounced temporary greens for 1-18 until the new year. Full price. Absurd, terrible experience.

Parking is the worst. We were shooting at makeshift greens located on the fairway. I gave it a chance but after 9 holes if pointless golf bc you’re not putting for real at all. We got to 10 and the starter let someone walk on behind us when groupings were already full. This created 3 groups per hole and getting an audience waiting with us on the tee box for the next 3 holes. I left bc it wasn’t even worth $20

Course is under construction yet they are charging full price temporary green on EVERY hole. Collapsed bridge on 4.

I played this course on a hot deal special. Not worth it. 3 holes were closed and the greens were horrible. Parking was also terrible
