Inconsistent greens, very rough fairways, hardpan many places in fairways. Nice layout has possibilities but not kept up.

I love the layout of the course. Very open, and very few houses that are close. The greens are above average, tee boxes are fine, fairways are good for early in the season. The cart paths are pretty bad, and could use quite a bit of work. Can’t beat it for the price. Will definitely play it again.

Some NC State loving guy at the clubhouse is a complete bozo. Literally all he talked about to someone else as I was waiting was about some coach named Dave turning things around. Mean, unhelpful and overall ruined my experience out there. Course conditions leave a lot to be desired. The layout is great but otherwise it’s not that great.

Beware the sanded greens. They don’t have a course alert up for it but they treated and sanded all the greens but didn’t even roll them or anything. Whoever cuts these holes does a terrible job. Every few holes you find a “volcano” around the cup. It’s like a putt putt hole! Chunks of sand everywhere. We played at 12:40pm, somewhere around hole 10 (2:15pm) a greens keeper finally rode up from behind us and put the tee markers out, I guess he was a little late to work and no one else could be bothered. There are rocks in the fairways. Like, in the middle of the fairway you could put a gouge into a club, definitely play “roll em in the fairway” at this course. Don’t trust their yardage markers, use a range finder or an app.

Like others have said, challenging course, but poor conditions. Greens were fine, but the rest was bad. Ruts, bare patches, runoffs. Wear a kidney belt to drive in the rough. With better conditions, would be a gem.

Booked a tee time before noon and then got a voicemail the morning of saying there was a glitch with overbooking and that my tee time got canceled. Tried to callback so we could figure out a different time and left a callback number but they never called. Can’t trust it even when you think you booked a tee time and then on top of that, the course didn’t do anything to help resolve the matter, simply a “too bad” situation. Now it’s too late to play anywhere before lunch so thanks a lot.

Parts of fairways have no grass and have lots of small ditches.

Would like to see battery operated cart for the sake of noise reduction.

First, we had a 12:40 tee time but there weren’t enough carts to go around. It’s understandable with the virus causing people to take individual carts, but people who just walked in were allowed to go out even though people with tee times were standing there waiting. We teed off about an hour and 15 minutes late.

Golf carts are very old gas models that run poorly and have no suspension. The course is very bumpy and has a lot of areas where rocks are on the surface. The Cary itself vibrates like crazy and by the time we played about 12 holes I had enough, with a sore back. It was horrible. As we were playing we even passed 3 other carts that were abandoned after breaking down on the course. No wonder they didn’t have enough to go around.

I will not play here again.

The course is quite challenging due to most of the fairways have slopes and rough, swampy patches in the middle where if you hit the ball you have no hope of finding. The pace was slow. The layout is very easy to follow. I only wish they would convert the carts to battery operated. The noise of the gas operated motors is a little disconcerting in such pastoral surroundings.

If you've played this course before, you know what you are going to get. Until an irrigation system is installed, it will continue to have so much area with no grass. Today, the greens were in good shape and rolled well, faster than expected. There was no overseeding done, so there is a lack of grass almost everywhere. I will continue to play here occasionally. I do enjoy the layout, you don't or can't hit driver on every tee, you have to make shots. In this way it's a better course than many around.

Greens are pretty good. The layout is very good. Fairways are so hard it’s difficult to take a divot. Sometimes impossible. VERY hard. Back 9 is way better than front.

Each hole provides a different look, chance to use all your clubs and very reasonable price!

Do not use golf now directions! Make sure to use google or Apple Maps

The golf club has nice warmup space. Don’t miss out on the large chipping green nestled At the end of the driving range. . Not much of a clubhouse.

NOTE: The golf now tee time details say a bucket of range balls is included, but the pro shop said that was incorrect. I didn’t bother pull out my phone, but next time will push the issue.

Notice I said next time? I’m definitely coming back. Nice rolling layout with a few neat aspects. Forgiving fairways and little by way of water hazards. The putting greens were full of acne the day I played. Also, it had rained the day before and the sand traps were 50/50 playable. Overall a good course and worth the cheap golf now deal.

Tee boxes were in good shape and they do well cleaning up Butts and tees. Only one Porto-Jon I saw on the course. I played mid afternoon. At 5 it picked up quite a bit.

It was a bit of a drive from Brier creek, but the scenic route made it enjoyable. It is still spring and many houses were visible. I hit a ball into the backyard on accident. Probably a prettier course in the fall.

Carts are worn out. Greens have weeds. Traps need sand. Fairways need grass. No clubhouse after 10 years.

Greens are great (Bermuda), fairways are "roll 'em", new sand in the bunkers.....but still so-so.

Great layout, always enjoy the scenery. If you are looking for an upscale course, this isn't for you but for $25 or less, check it out. Derek, the Mon/Tues guy in the clubhouse, is always friendly. Can't beat playing 18 in under 2 3/4 hrs on a weekday!

The course layout is really nice but the conditions are not great. Greens were in decent shape and fast given the time fo year. They just need to invest some money in the course to get it in better shape. Overall if you can play for under $30 for weekend greens fees it’s ok.

Don’t walk. Run. Course conditions-terrible. Amenities-none. Customer service-worst I have ever experienced. Don’t waste your time or money. They don’t appreciate your business.

Hadn’t played here in years but hot deals kept popping up so tried it a few weeks ago. Overall it wasn’t as bad off as I thought it might be. Greens are actually really good. Quick but fair. Layout of the track is so great. They just can’t keep up with the maintenance of the fairways and bunkers like the terrain requires. So many areas are washed out leaving fairways thin or edges basically dirt. If you understand going in that you might have to roll the ball around to get some grass then it’s well worth it to give it a shot. If you are a “purist” (aka golf snob) then this isn’t the place for you. Pace has been good the few times I’ve played. Shop is bare bones.
