Great
We like playing this course a lot. It’s very well maintained! Some holes are a challenge, but that’s golf!
The High Handicapper
Had a great time with friends. Busy, but still good pace of play. Greens were excellent. Staff super friendly and made us feel welcomed. Will most definitely go back!!!
EarthQuake(r)
Played this course several times. Right now, it’s in really great shape. Full fairways, bunkers somewhat lean due to recent rains, Greens are full, roll true but are really slow right now. If they are cut & rolled, QC will provide a great experience. Clubhouse is a typical small rural dwelling with friendly staff. Considering the full Monty, it’s a great value round of golf.
Felt rushed and the player’s behind is just about hit us two or three times
Excellent country course. Great shape, challenging, chill and beautiful. One of my favorites. We drive an hour to play it once a week.
Always a good time
Nice layout on a big property. Always a good time when we play here
One of the best values around
For the money, hard to beat. Course is challenging (especially from the tips at 6900 yards!). Greens normally pretty good - we a bit hairy and slow today but they saw some challenges 1 month ago and I was concerned but some good maintenance has brought them back pretty well so I suspect the “not cut low” was to help them recover. Not much amenities but for the money, this is a good course
Solid Course
Also a good experience playing here. Fairly open course to miss left or right and green are always in great shape! Worth the trip every time!
Excellent Golf at a low price
The course is in very good condition right now. We had a great time.
Course is in great shape
The course is well maintained. The greens were very firm to the point that most shots would not stop on them and rolled off.
The slope and grain play an important part on putting well. Pay close attention to both. The course is challenging but worth ithe money.
Can't wait to play again soon.
Great day, where's everyone?
Fabulous fairways, great greens and a pace that allowed my group to play in less than four hours. See you soon.
All to ourselves
Wow, never ever played The Creek in under 4 hours. Greens are coming in fantastic and the fairways are giving good landings and rolls. Had a friend in from DC and he was blown away by the conditions and quality of play. We will return. And, keep up the good work on the maintenance.
Fun cheaper course
Fun course for a great price, pace of play was fast and conditions were great.
Another Good Return to Qaker Creek
I enjoy returning to Quaker Creek. It's a good place to work on your game. I would not call it a high-challenging course. It's just enough to help you improve what your doing wrong. And you cannot beat the value.
Love Quaker Creek
Always find ourselves heading back to QC for another round. Nice course, out of the way, very affordable and some interesting holes for sure. Some narrow holes to test your accuracy and then some wide open holes to let it fly. Last 3 holes are long and straight ... and that's how we all "aim" to "hit 'em".
It’s Golf
First the good, The gentleman in the clubhouse was so nice, friendly and we felt welcome. He walked outside with us to advise us where to go for holes #1 and #10. Our hopes were high but only because we drove quite a way to this course. The other online reviews seem good but we were underwhelmed. There’s no real aprons around the greens and the tee boxes, fairways and traps need TLC. The traps need new sand. That’s the case on a lot of courses we play so not a deal breaker. We enjoyed the few blind shots. Playing the course for the first time made that feature fun. We like adventure. I think if you live in the area play it but if you’re two hours away like us find something closer. BTW: We play a lot of resort courses so my review may be a bit unfair to Quaker. We did like that it’s not as hilly as most Virginia/NC golf. It’s easy to navigate and fairly priced.
