Skybrook Golf Club

This is one of my favorite courses and the staff has worked hard to bring it back into good condition. Fairways were in really good shape, bunkers were the best I have seen in a long time and the greens were rolling nice and smooth.

We had a great time on this course. It is very well maintained.

Course was in great shape. Good terrain changes and layout for a mostly flat area. Great value.

Course in great condition. Greens in great shape and hold well, fairways great, first cut rough good. Excellent lay out , Hilly and challenging. Highly recommend.

Lots of bare spots on tees and fairways. Greens have been waters so heavily they are easily turn up and susceptible to numerous pitch marks. The layout is a lot of fun and the price is not bad but the course needs some love. I think they are trying but struggling against the heat and looks like the grass never came in well this spring. Staff was nice though

I have played Skybrook a number of times over the years. Like a number of the courses in the area Skybook has not been in optimal shape the last couple years. In the last couple months I have played here three times and each time you can see the efforts of the work the greenskeeping staff is putting into the course. The greens are in very good shape and putt true. Fairways have some areas with little to no grass but these are getting fewer and fewer. Tees show the greatest improvement with new sod and upkeep. For the mid handicap golfer Skybook is one of the best course around. The fairways are wide and greens fair but challenging to read. For all but one tee shot you can see the landing area even though the layout reminds me of a course in the mountains. The 17th hole is one of my favorites anywhere; a beautiful par 4 that requires two good shots to get on in regulation.

Very good course. Friendly & welcoming staff. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape; greens were rolling fine but still recovering around the edges. Hilly layout is a fair challenge to players at all levels. No tricked-up holes or greens - an enjoyable challenge.

Enjoyed the course very much with lots of undulating fairways, tees, and greens. Some fairways have lost grass from the rains in the last month. Overall go play this course as I was impressed with the layout and the greens.

Skybrook was a great track. We played on Memorial Day and rain was in the forecast so it was not very busy. Greens are in great shape - fairways are coming in but there are a few bare spots on certain holes. I would have liked to have seen a cart girl, I was limited to refreshments at the turn.

Skybrook really tests your game. I’m a 12-13 handicap and the greens were good, some bad spots but overall the speed was good. Not too fast or too slow, I made some great putts! They need to work on the fairways several wet areas and dirt spots on many. Look forward to playing it again in a few weeks and break 80. AB

It was a great day to play, but the course needed work. Doesn't drain well, and sand traps still had sand piled up in them waiting to be spread. Greens were incredibly inconsistent, but had been aerated in the last month or so. All in all, it didn't look like the rain handled the rain well. Still soggy, 2 days after the rain, lots of dead spots in the fairways. Still, layout is nice, challenging course, and staff was great.

The course is in pretty good conditions even though there were 2-3 holes were you could tell they were perhaps making new bunkers (plain dirt), which it did not disturb our round since no machinery nor workers were working at those areas.

Before booking I asked if the course was in good conditions and if it was recently aerated, to which they said greens were aerated in early March. In my opinion the greens were done more like towards the end of March. It was not bad, but they had certainly not recovered completely.

Fairways were starting to green up.

Had a great time playing this course. Very open and lots of hills. Very nice staff and helpful. I will play this course again.

Great course great conditions but when we got there it was cart path only and I had a gentleman that was 74 years old we had to quit playing after like 8 holes. When I told the Pro Shop that we had to leave as soon as I said I booked it through GolfNow he was like oh well I kind of expected maybe a rain check I mean I didn't know the course was going to be cart path only the gentleman was 74 years old and anybody knows if you ever played at Skybrook you can't park anywhere near your ball if you're in the Fairway
