Very slow and greens were terrible, waited 10 min between every shot

The course was not in great shape, some greens were rough, the pace of play was hit wait hit,etc...very slow

What a great layout but the greens are in terrible shape and the worst thing is the golf course has been emailing me saying come play that the greens were back in good shape and my backyard is better. The sad thing is the layout is one of the best in the piedmont/triad area but this place needs to drastically reduce their rates and replace there greens because the ones they currently have are never coming back.

I'm glad I only paid $16 for this round. The course is in terrible condition. The tee boxes has next to no grass, the fairways have limited grass was so wet it was like playing of mud. Lastly the greens was awful, full of holes. To top it off I was stuck between two 4 balls of old guys who refused to let me through, so I waited on every shot from hole 4 on wards. As icing on the cake the bar/restaurant wasn't open when I got in at 3.30pm. I will NOT be coming back.

I have played Meadowlands many times over the years. In the past it has always been a good place to play. The course is a great layout with good golf holes. But, something has happened in the last 8 months. The condition of the course is just Awful, especially the greens. They are very bumpy and have dead patches in a lot of them. Even the fairways had a lot of dirt on them-I do realize the Bermuda hasn't come in yet, but compared to other course with the same dormant fairways, these were not good. Tee boxes about the same, poor condition. On the good side, the staff at Meadowlands was very nice. I hope that things do improve, because this golf course has a lot of potential-and has in the past. But until course conditions improve, there is no way I would recommend playing this course.

I feel like we overpayed for the condition the course is in at this time. The greens are terrible and they are doing a lot of work on the course. I played the course one other time several years ago in a captains choice tournament and was excited to come back and play and I was disappointed. I hope it gets back to what I remembered it as. The staff was very nice. I will come back to this course but not for a while.

Very disappointed in conditions of the greens. Greens have not recovered from last summer. Some greens have multiple bare spots and seams where patches have been places. Takes fun out of a good course. Normal green fee cost way to high for conditions of greens.

Only 13 holes open and greens were very ruff. Why don't you say that before we come out?

Great Layout however holes 4-8 are closed due to water main issues. Not very happy with that. Greens are top dressed and pretty much unplayable. Will probably be that way for another 3 weeks. Look forward to playing it when the grass starts to grow again.

Only 5 holes are open on the front 9 due to maintenance putting in gas line pipes. This information wasn't made available to us before we booked it on Golf.now. Dissapointed.

Had a fun hang around noon.
I chilled friends that some holes are still challenging course. Next I try to get record.

several greens in pretty bad shape (even for winter play). Have played here many times and never had a complaint until this time.

I have played this course several times but I have never seen the greens this bad.

The course was in excellent condition considering it was in the middle of a very chilly January. The lay out is fun, and the staff were great. I will return.

The course layout is excellent and fun. The staff in the clubhouse were accommodating and social able. I definitely desire to return to play this course again. It reminded me of the club I grew up playing with the environment. I gave the course only 4 stars, noting that a 5 star for me would be like Pinehurst or Kiawah. While I played on a day just shy of freezing, I imagine this course is absolutely beautiful during peak season.

Course in decent shape for Dec. but several greens were really in rough shape especially on back nine.

At $30 it seemed a good deal , however, several of the greens were really bad, I think $25 would have been more appropriate .
Nice friendly staff, so that was a plus, when they get all the greens back into shape,then I would recommend this course.

I really enjoyed the layout but was disappointed in the shape of the greens. Some were in really bad shape. It's been a few years since I have played here and the greens were always some of the best in the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would love to play again when the greens are in better shape. I would recommend if you can get a discounted price.

I love this golf course. I have had so many great experiences out there. It is one of the finer golf courses around and the staff realy is great. The grille is kind of small but it is a golf club not a country club. The greens are not bad at all and it is just a few on the back side. Dont let it stop you from playing a great layout!
