About
Oak Hollow Golf Course is one of two municipally owned golf courses in High Point, N.C. This Pete Dye design is the newer and more popular of the two. The layout features several Dye signatures including pot bunkers and railroad ties but it's the small, undulating greens that are the most recognizable Dye trademark. The golf course has an interesting mix of holes, including several risk-reward opportunities. It's a course that will make you think, rewarding strategy and accuracy over might. The signature hole is the par-4 sixth. This 420-yard hole wraps around a lake with an island tee at the tips that will test the brave. Oak Hollow's toughest hole, though, is the 437-yard 11th, also a par 4. You'll need a perfectly placed tee shot and then after you're met with a triple-tiered green that sits along the water's edge.

Best course for the money
I have always stated for years that this is the best course for the money and the Winston Greensboro area.
But don’t think you’re gonna walk on the course and shoot 80 it has its challenges like the best of them
Great course, friendly staff
Had an amazing time for my first time on the course. It helps to have someone that has played the course before. Challenging holes but forgiving and greens were actually very nice for having snowed less than a month ago. Try this gem of a course.
Great course but needs some updates.
Always enjoy Oak Hollow course layout.. Greens are bumpy, even for winter. Recommend switching out greens to Championship Bermuda. Hole 6 could be an exceptional asset if bridge were fixed along with back tee box.

Great course
Probably the most bang for your buck for a golf course. The greens are in great condition.
Zero water on the course= beer cart is a must!
Slower than average greens in the area. Layout can not be beat. Views are excellent! Pete Dye design on a lake great views.. Will play again soon just hope they mow the greens..

Played here many times, love the layout and condition
We were 2nd group off and 2 other guys joined us from Golfnow tee time as well. Played in 4 hours as a couple of guys had not been there but nobody was waiting on us. Course in very good shape.

Great price. With better maintenance this could be a top 3 course in the area. Front/Back different flavor.

Paid too much on Golfnow
The green fees at the course would have been less than I pre paid through Golfnow. Lesson learned!!
Greens have a lot of poe weed. Fairways were good. Pace of play was terrible (no rangers)
Slow Play, Thick rough
This is a reasonable, challenging course. My first visit, pace of play moved well. Today I had to cut at 9 holes, estimated of finishing a five half hour round if not more and had work responsibilities that were going to cut it close. The course was lush, recent rains have been kind. The thick was just that, easy to lose a ball unless you just walked up on it. I think this contributed to the slow play, as folks were taking time to look for lost balls.
