Oak Hollow Golf Course

I walked as a single with a tee time via Golfnow. Was planning on 18 holes (and paid for that) but 9 took me over 2 1/2 hours so decided it wasn’t worth it to hit and wait so long between shots. No ranger prescence. Otherwise course was in great shape. Apparently Tuesday is a busy day.

Five stars if the greens were in better shape. They had beeen punched and the holes had been in the same spot for a while. The layout is fun though. Lots of elevation changes. Would play again.

Look like they punched the green lately . Has not recovered yet.

The course is beautiful with great view of the lake. The fairways are excellent. The greens had just been aerated and were a little bumpy but that has to be done every year. The course was crowded so if I had mine suggestion, it would be to make all of the single or even two player groups pair up to make the pace of play a little quicker. I know some people are hesitant to play with stranger but it’s up to course management to pair them up. I usually enjoy pairing up with strangers and making new golf friends!

Course is in really good shape. Eddie in the pro shop is just the best. Very friendly.

Prior to last fall it had been years since I played Oak Hollow. I have been very happy since returning. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is vastly improved compared to what I remember. The course, although never to be confused with, is in really good shape. I've been satisfied with pace of play. Also, and most importantly; It is by far the best value in The Triad.

If it wasn’t for the slow pace of play it would be a 5 star rating. The staff was helpful, the ladies in the grill were great. They have a cart with a Ranger sign but never saw anyone keeping the pace of play up. Some really nice holes along the lake and overall the course is in good shape. Great value and would play it again!

Overall, great course, loved it for the first time playing it. Looks like they had shifted up the white tear boxes to adjust for the pace of play, one part four was a drivable green 230 yards over the water, but with two groups ahead of us, I would've waited for them to clear the green and impacted the groups behind us.

In the end, still a great round of golf. Greens are marked as all affordable courses are, but they are still moderately fast in the heat. Great price for around.

Course is in fantastic shape. It was busy on that Friday morning but pace was still good considering. Always enjoy Oak Hollow.

I am an average golfer and first time at this course. Enjoyed meeting the staff and they were very helpful. Great course for the price and pretty views.

Started out on the back nine, which is weird for a non-tournament situation. The back nine is much tighter and requires accuracy. Lots of hidden greens, hills, traps, etc. Will not be playing there again. The fairways were meh, the greens were spotty, and evidently the people that play there have never heard of fixing a ball mark. Every green had unfixed ball marks. Got stalked by the Ranger a couple of times. For the money, not worth it.

Oak Hollow is a nice layout and was in very good condition. The greens were soft and held, and putting was true. You have to try to clear the lake on 6, very cool shot. Would play again.
