About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Best Course This Year
My first time visiting this golf course and wow! I had an amazing time, great layout, superb pace of play, ranger was a gem, I can’t say enough about this place.
Course is in outstanding condition, aided by recent rains. Earlier tee time group, let us have their time since only 2 of us, which was extremely nice of them.
Great shape
Best round of golf for the money that I have
played this year.
Course was in really good shape despite all the rain. It was carts on path so not many people were playing on Saturday afternoon. Just me and my son playing and we were done in 3 hours. Loved that!
Variety
This course has lots of different looks and was very spread out. I enjoyed the views along each hole
Needs water jugs
It was 90 degrees out. Not a single water jug was out on the course.
Motivating course
Being a hack golfer, loved this place, layout of the course allows for mistakes but also is challenging at the same time. Had a really good round, specially after winter break. The value is great. Staff is very helpful and greeting.
Open track
For the price you can't beat it. Very open and easy golf course to manage.
