Once a year
I play this course once a year, mostly early before the course turns to concrete in the dry weather. I give the course a shot every year to see if they have improved conditions, but conditions only seem to get worse. The fairways have a lot of bare spots leaving you with hard pack dirt to hit off of. Tee boxes are loaded with bare spots making it hard to find a decent place to set up for a tee shot. There is limited sand in the sand traps to hit out of. The layout of the course is it's best asset with a challenging layout of doglegs and long par threes. The greens are almost all sloped to challenge your putting. But there was not much upkeep to the course or irrigation. Maybe they need a good course administrator to bring the playing conditions back to what they were years ago.
Slow play
Almost 5 hours to finish round. A lot of grass missing on fairways. Area needs rain
Poor course
Late April round, but fourth time out this spring and by far worst maintained course I’ve ever played, more areas of hard packed dirt than grass on all fairways. Concrete hard could probably put 100 yards on fairway due to lack of grass and hardness of ground,
Won’t be back
I know it’s early spring but course was like the middle of a dessert, minimal grass and lots of hard packed dirt to hit off of. The course was the poorest public course I’ve ever played. Definitely will not go back or recommend to anyone
Muddy but late season golf
OK for a late season bonus round but was muddy in spots and lots of bare spots. OK if you don't mind moving the ball to some where you can hit. It's not Medinah but a place to play in mid November for cheap.
Stay out of the bunkers!
Every bunker we came into contact with was full of rocks, some quite large!
