Awesome golf for a great price.
Drove 40 miles and it was worth it. Course was in great shape and loved the layout. Price was good and other courses around the area should do the same. It only makes sense to have a golf course 80 percent full at a decent price than 40 percent full at a crazy price. Definitely will come back.
Great deal but
Slow pace of play, need more rangers pushing people thru
Best place after rain
Last year Carillon stopped restricting carts after it rains. I can't see where the course is being damaged by the change.
A 27 Hole Saturday
The weather forecast was wrong - a nice afternoon and snagged at $30 rate special on a Saturday afternoon no less. Played Blue/Red and got in a bonus 9 on the White. Carillon was in really really nice shape. Greens smooth & had good speed....the Red 9 the greens are punched - small tines no sand and still were decent. All else well maintained. We really need rain so the grass will grow....it's been tough on courses this early season with the lack of precip. Everyone is really nice at this facility....except for the starter - they should seriously consider only letting him rake sand traps all day and clean carts. Displayed a terrible attitude/acumen.....far from welcoming and really has no business being a customer facing employee.
It's a Find
I played the course for the first time but it already made my list of favorite courses. The Blue-Red course is well maintained and when played from at least the blue tees, is sufficiently challenging and interesting for a recreational round of golf. Not overcrowded even though we played on a Sunday. Good value too.
