Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

I was billed for all 4 tee times on my credit card when making the tee time. One of the guys could not make it because he had symptoms of covid, so we told him not to come. The course would not give me a credit or offer a voucher to play again. So I am out the $65.00. With all that is going on with the virus, why would you not credit back or give a voucher to return. We still had 3 guys play , so we didn't waste a tee time. The course was very nice , but I wouldn't go back due to this.
Great value
This is a really nice course and it’s great that you can play a twilight w/o paying $45-50. They also have great deals on GolfNow if you have a weekday off.
Frog Hollow
My only grip is:
yes they have rakes by all bunkers but almost all bunkers are scattered with rocks and pebbles...
In good spring shape
This course is coming back very well. It's currently in very good shape.
Nice day on the course, but traps need a little work...
Course was nice, but the sand traps need a lot of work. Greens are coming in nicely and the tee boxes were fine. Check-in and the starter were on their games. We will be back this spring / summer.
Lovely day for golf course in great shape
It was a very nice day for golf we were paired with 2 guys who played white tees we played gold but we moved at a steady pace and really no waiting to hit shots ... we covered the course in about 4 hours and each player had an enjoyable day !!
Coarse conditions
Didn’t give it five sty because of some of the sand traps. They need some work.
Layout the best feature.
Fix your phone message. Does 't mention you are calling Frog Hollow GC until end of message. Thought I called wrong number.
Great course
Great course and I hope to play there many times this year.
Solid
4 hours 5 min on a Saturday with nice weather. Bunkers were in great shape, fairways and greens were fine (esp for April).

Very good course great pricing and a competitive course
10 days later
Played here 10days ago and was happy to play here again. A couple years ago, I avoided Frog Hollow like the virus. Now I don’t have any problem with playing here once a month.
Everything is greening up nicely. Obvious bunker repair is continuing. I was a bit surprised no cart girl/person on the course for the first Saturday in April, but the hot dogs at the turn were solid.
