Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Excellent Greens
The Staff did a wonderful job rebuilding the course from its state last season. While not yet perfect, it's certainly going in the right direction. Kudos to maintenance staff and greenskeepers.
Still is good shape for the fall!
Tee’d off at 3:20 and still got in 17 holes.... pace was great because everyone was tiring to beat the sundown!!
Course in very good condition.
Tee boxes good. Fairways good. Bunkers in good shape. Nice large greens also in good shape. I played at 240pm on Monday and had the course to myself.
Excellent round
The course has bounced back nicely during the cooler days. Greens, Fairways in great condition. Tee boxes were the only thing stopping a 5 star rating. We were a 4-some and finished in under 4 hours. The undulating fairways and the angle of the sun force you to have to play the ball in the fairways otherwise the ball is tough to find in the 2nd cut. We were all in all very pleased.
Nice day at frog hollow
Course in very good shape pace of play average but we still finished in decent time ! Tee boxes need alittle work but overall very nice conditions ! Would definitely play here again !!
A bit slow......
Granted I was a single golfer, but it should never be a 5 hour round as a single. There was a twosome in front of me and a foursome in front of them, but it was so backed up that the threesome behind me were always right on me as well. The course itself was really nice,m it's a tight course in many places with some small greens but all the undulations were awesome and made for challenging shot placements.
Come back
This course a couple of years ago it was in horrible condition it’s made a comeback greens better than average fairways are in good shape the rough is challenging I definitely recommend this course to play

This is a great value and course is in great condition at the end of the year!!
enjoyable round
Played with some of the most entertaining guys i had never met before. Course was in awesome shape. Surprising how good of shape it was in at the end of summer.
Fun to play
Great greens and fast fairways in good shape sand bunkers need more sand otherwise good shape
First time won't be the last time.
This was our first time playing this course and we really had a good time. The two of us were paired with another twosome, and we had a blast. The course was in good condition, and easy to navigate. The only thing we didn't love, is that you are surrounded pretty heavily with houses. I'll definitely be back around to get this one in. You really can't beat the price we paid.
Great Day of Golf
Two of my sons were visiting for the week. Decided to play a round. Went on Golfnow and got a good rate. I had not played FH since early spring. The course was still in repair back then, but today everything was in good shape . I will return for another round before the year is over.
