Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Lovely day for golf course in great shape
It was a very nice day for golf we were paired with 2 guys who played white tees we played gold but we moved at a steady pace and really no waiting to hit shots ... we covered the course in about 4 hours and each player had an enjoyable day !!
Coarse conditions
Didn’t give it five sty because of some of the sand traps. They need some work.
Layout the best feature.
Fix your phone message. Does 't mention you are calling Frog Hollow GC until end of message. Thought I called wrong number.
Great course
Great course and I hope to play there many times this year.
Solid
4 hours 5 min on a Saturday with nice weather. Bunkers were in great shape, fairways and greens were fine (esp for April).

Very good course great pricing and a competitive course
10 days later
Played here 10days ago and was happy to play here again. A couple years ago, I avoided Frog Hollow like the virus. Now I don’t have any problem with playing here once a month.
Everything is greening up nicely. Obvious bunker repair is continuing. I was a bit surprised no cart girl/person on the course for the first Saturday in April, but the hot dogs at the turn were solid.

Frog Hollow is back the new owners and staff have done a tremendous job.

Frog hollow will be one of the best courses in Delaware again very soon.
I’d say 30-40 percent bunkers are repaired. Noticed work on a bunch more. They have aerated all the aprons around all the greens. Also did what looked liked used a comb on the greens. They ran a bit fast and slow on different greens, but overall smooth.
After the trouble Frog Hollow had a few years back, I highly recommend everyone come back and play this great track before everyone else does.
Always a beautiful course
Great course at a great price. Course is in good condition. Everytime I play here they are always working on the course somwhere, which shows that they invest in its condition. Many of the traps have been recently filled some still need work but i have no doubt they will get to it. Pace was a little slow but it was a beautiful warm day so it bought a lot of people out. I will definitely be back soon.
Great Value
Although covid is still having a impact on the overall play because not everything is available. The course itself was good. The greens were faster than I thought but short game was still good.
