About
Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Come back
This course a couple of years ago it was in horrible condition it’s made a comeback greens better than average fairways are in good shape the rough is challenging I definitely recommend this course to play
Great end of year rates
This is a great value and course is in great condition at the end of the year!!
enjoyable round
Played with some of the most entertaining guys i had never met before. Course was in awesome shape. Surprising how good of shape it was in at the end of summer.
Fun to play
Great greens and fast fairways in good shape sand bunkers need more sand otherwise good shape
First time won't be the last time.
This was our first time playing this course and we really had a good time. The two of us were paired with another twosome, and we had a blast. The course was in good condition, and easy to navigate. The only thing we didn't love, is that you are surrounded pretty heavily with houses. I'll definitely be back around to get this one in. You really can't beat the price we paid.
Great Day of Golf
Two of my sons were visiting for the week. Decided to play a round. Went on Golfnow and got a good rate. I had not played FH since early spring. The course was still in repair back then, but today everything was in good shape . I will return for another round before the year is over.
Getting better
Played about a month ago, and I noticed improvements today. Tee boxes are better, so are some bunkers. Greens are “nice” right now. Was a little damp from recent weather, but I no longer will avoid frog hollow. Can’t wait till next year, this place should be fabulous by then. Fingers crossed
Coming back nicely
I last played here about a year ago and the course was in bad shape. I was pleasantly surprised to find the fairways and greens in much better condition. It’s a really good layout so if conditions continue to get better it would be a fun go to course for players of all levels.
Suggestions
Not friendly to the first guest. Moreover, we do not keep this when we need to distance ourselves from the corona 19 infection relationship. The first is the one you don't know and two people on the same card. I think this is very dangerous for COVID-19 infection. And it was the most uncomfortable day because the game was too late.

Frog Hollow
This course was in good condition. However, 13,15,&17 was cart path only due to saturation from rain the day prior to our round. There where other low spots on a few
holes with standing water. This did not play a factor in my round. I just avoided them.
Slooooooooow
Greens and fairways are in great shape. Most bunkers have more gravel than sand. Pace of play is awful; no monitoring by staff. Good layout, Friendly and helpful staff.

Great rebound
I played this course last year both before and after the conditions had deteriorated from a lack of water due to a lightning strike on their equipment. The course is in great shape and I commend those involved for the huge job they had to do to get it that way.
