Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Not the best experience here
Greens had a bunch of black, barren spots; not sure due to heat or disease. A lot of unrepaired divots on fairway and teeboxes, many fairway areas holes were supersauturated from watering but could be that we were early tee time on a day it was gonna be almost triple digits. We really like this course but it was rougher condition than usual. Starter was nice enough to let us go with just two since there was a gap in play... that was cool of them.
A lot of character
The course had a lot of character. The greens are challenging but were beat up in some areas. Especially the front nine. I will play again for sure and highly recommend this course.
First timer
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being my first time out the Marshall was very down to earth and easy to talk with. Being a single jumping in he got me on track and luckily I got paired with an awesome group. Challenging course for sure and in decent condition. Soft yet fast greens and you can let the big dawg eat… I will definitely be back!!!
Pace of play was terrible. I left after 5 holes after catching 7 (yes 7 )groups all bunched up on holes 6-9. Either make the tee time intervals longer or get a marshal out there to prod these people along. If I waited, I was on a 5 and a half hour round pace. Oh yeah, this was a TUESDAY afternoon.
Tee Times Way too Short
Tee times are way too short to the point when 4 people are playing, other groups must wait about 10minutes until they clear. This just frustrates your clients. I understand Froggy Hollow is trying to maximize their profit, however your clients are paying money to have a positive, memorable experience with friends. Please seriously consider adding 5minutes onto all tee times to make playing at Froggy Hollow an enjoyable and not rushed experience.

Need longer times beween T-times.
We are waiting 10minutes at each hole. From playing many other courses managemeent needs to extend each T -time by at least 5minutes.
