Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Greens
All greens extremely undulating. Therefore challenging. Nice course. 4 hours for the round playing a foursome. Little slow for me. 5500 yards from the golds. So that was great for me. 200 yard drive is my best. Golf Now deal was $37. Great value
Wet day of Golf
Greens were very good, but soft from rain.
Bunkers NEED A lot of work.
Fairways, very soft.
Need to get better golf carts.

One of my favorite courses to play. Just wish it were closer to Philly.Very challenging, undulating greens. Course was in good shape for this time of year. Bunkers and greens were well-maintained.
The course was in great shape.It was like playing off a cushion Rug fairways in beautiful shape.Will definitely play there again.
Not the best experience here
Greens had a bunch of black, barren spots; not sure due to heat or disease. A lot of unrepaired divots on fairway and teeboxes, many fairway areas holes were supersauturated from watering but could be that we were early tee time on a day it was gonna be almost triple digits. We really like this course but it was rougher condition than usual. Starter was nice enough to let us go with just two since there was a gap in play... that was cool of them.
