Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Slow pace of play
Could not finish the round very slow. There were 2 teams waiting on every hole
Careens were aerated but were fast
Great deal!!
Played and reviewed Frog Hollow many times. Never seen the pond on the right of 13 th fairway so low that my partner played his tee shot from out there. Almost made it to the green!!no rain in the area in a long time why a lot of the water features are currently gone. The course is in above average shape for November. Greens recently aerated don’t affect putts too bad. Couple traps I got into were soft. The hot deal was an added bonus. Shot 95 ( I average 94 here) exactly 100 days after a quadruple heart bypass. I had a good day!!!

Liked the course, just had to deal with the aerated greens..

greens were pegged but actually rolled well and were holding approach shots very well.
Due to time of year the bar/restaurant was not open. Pace of play was smooth 4:10
Layout is fine.
Love the coarse, just wish the greens were not aerated when I golfed there.
Not bad
Only my second time ever playing at FH. Pretty good layout, conditions were decent (especially considering that we’ve had virtually no rain for at least a month). Starter is a good dude, seems to enjoy his job. Girls behind the bar were cool. All in all, definitely worth the $60 for an afternoon tee time on a Saturday.

Played there two days ago and I probably haven’t played here in well over two years and I was shocked only because some people have been leaving terrible reviews so I gambled on my own experience and those reviews on Frog hollow couldn’t be any more wrong and false this is without a doubt one of my favorite Delaware tracks love the layout and staff especially James in the pro shop. Most definitely will be back here next season.

Fresh cut greens. Nothing better than that on a Friday morning! Trees against the greens and fairways looked amazing, especially on 18! Will be back again next week!
Some ruff spots
Coursewas in very good shape. Some ruff spots in Fairways and around greens. They are working on them.
Greens were rolling true and are tuff. Women friendly.
To the 930 group…..
You guys took an hour to play 3 holes. I work night shift, your the reason I had to leave after 9 holes. Absolutely ridiculous. Course is punching greens in October so, get it in while you can. The group of old guys wouldn’t fix any of their ball marks and proceeded to putt out their double pars. Your the reason people don’t want to play anymore. I knew I should’ve purchased that tee time and cancelled it hours before hand. Pathetic. Starter is a great guy, club house rep was great too. The players make this place a crummy experience.
