Decent condition and layout
This course is not the best of conditions but for the money is a good one to play. I especially like the par 3’s as they all have their own challenges. The greens were rather quicker than I expected but were in good shape.
Great Day Golfing
Got out early, meet a member from Winter Haven and had a great round course was good and the green’s were very fast. I’ll play with that member again for sure
Cypress woods
To be honest I don't know where to begin with this one. This is by far the worst condition course I have played. The fairways and greens may have well been the rough too. there were dead areas so old on both the fairways and greens that the sand was compacted. They seemed to lack in maintenance. Moreover, for a course with rangers who should be checking on the grounds, the pace of play was terribly slow. Almost torturous. This course has potential, needs work.2

Staff is super accommodating....course was wet but no ones fault.
Needs help!
Layout of course is nice, there is NO grass, needs help. It was a long drive to get disappointed!
Good value for your money
Layout was very good. Greens were good with a few areas on them, that did not effect play. Tees were good. Fairways average and very playable. Due to the rough being the same length as most fairways little defintion between then. I would play this course again.
A good day for something different...
Most of the time I play Cypresswood early on weekend mornings when the course is wet and slow from heavy dew. Playing in the drier afternoon on a windy day, I was hoping to see a bit more release on some shots. I was also hoping to see dry fluffy sand. Both of those things were there and made for an interesting change on a golf course I've played often. Pace of play, surprisingly, was good, but at 3:45 a little worse than most Saturday mornings where we finish in about 3:30. It having been a while since I've played in windy (20-30 mph) conditions I had to relearn flighting my shots. But overall it was a lot of fun and well worth the Hot Deals tee time price.
Delightful time under less than ideal conditions
One of my favorite courses to play when I visit family down here. Excellent value and friendly accommodating staff. Actually got off earlier that my tee time and the starter was able to place me with a twosome. Pace of play was better than any of the Chicagoland courses that I normally play. Able to hit when ready and the groups in front had not watched so much TV that they believed every shot would be their best ever. It can be very frustrating when foursomes wait on every hole for people playing from the incorrect tee boxes/markers.
Grow old
I never played on a course with such slow play,it took my wife and i,3 hrs. To play 9.5 holes,after that ,we left. No ranger on the course,checking the speed of play,the worst I ve ever been on.if you want to get old playing golf,this is the course for you.
This course was in fair condition. Most of the fairways had large bare areas. And many of the greens were badly damaged and in need of repair.
Horrible condition and pace
Terrible pace and condition. Lots of improvements to be made. No starter no ranger, got 4 groups of twosome stuck on 1 hole. Understand the price is cheap but could be made better. Be advised…
