Another course with real potential
Another course with real potential - strong layout very modest maintenance - it was hard to discern the fairway frrom the rough and it looked liked the holes hadn't been moved in a few days. Staff were not very engaged (exception was the martial who was great) value through Golfpass was very strong.
Much improved
Played last year and would not go back, this year much improved, will return to play.
Improving, Near Best Course in the area
This course has improved greatly in the past two years. This course is nearly the best course in the area for the money. Still needs work on cart paths, sand traps and fairways, but much has been improved. It is a very fun course to golf and can be challenging on several holes.
Beautiful country course
We were paired up with a very nice couple. The greens were in great condition. The cart paths need attention and they need to stop overwatering

This course has been much improved in the last year or two. A lot of work has been done to the greens and fairways. The cart paths are still terrible, but big improvements throughout the course. I would say it’s one of the better courses around Winter Haven now,
Cypresswood GC
Very 1st time playing. Not sure what to expect but for $30.00 it wasn't bad. I am sure at one time it was a true gem, however time and I am sure lack of money has begun to take its toll. Staff was more than accommodating and the grill room was nice. Will more than likely give it another chance since it is close to our new home.
Very disappointing
We have played this course in the past and enjoyed it but now, it seems to be going downhill quite fast. Tee boxes horrible. Greens burning out. Fairways have grass only where it has not disappeared. Looks like maintenance is all but forgotten. We will not be back. Sorry 'bout that. The ladies on the counter were the best thing about the course. Perhaps you should consider closing the course and building houses.
