It’s always funny to play the Cypreswood
Freindly staff and, moreover, freindly Marshall. Nice course, Nice layout, great value for the money.

Course is in rough shape. Multiple greens have large amounts of dead or dying areas leaving sand only to putt on. Tee blocks are sparse and fairways aren’t much better. Course is in desperate need of watering, overseeding and just general maintenance.
Good place to play
I arrived with 20 mins to spare but i was being rushed by the golf attendant. I did not like that i know i gave myself enough time to hit a few balls on the ranged but was still rushed. Also the cart paths need alot of work it felt like i was driving on an off road car course. Also the greens need alot of attention. They're were too many sandy rough patches which made your putt difficult. The bartender was very pleasant and kind.
Bad condition
It was tough to tell which had more grass on it. The fairway or the green. For this time of year there should be no problem. Having a nice fairway and more than decent greens. However, this was not the case. The greens were some of the worst I've ever seen and the fairways were not so fair. This is one of course I will not go back to.

The fairways and greens did not appear to be well maintained. The cost was lower than other courses in the area but the course condition did not make it worthwhile in my view.
The course get's better, but not the greens...
Since the new grounds crew the conditions in the fairway seem to be improving. The greens on the other hand seem to be getting worse. As warm as February was here...with a number of days in the 80s, you would think they could get some growth to start filling in the dead areas on a number of greens.
I suppose they are still less expensive than the other area courses that are in better condition. It will be interesting to see what happens as the post snowbird price and usage drops off.
I still like the course. It's got some good holes without a lot of forced carries , or blind doglegs. It does require some local knowledge on the second to navigate the baranca, But, for the most part you can see the shots you need to hit.
Hopefully better conditions will be here before the summer.
The course is well maintained.
Played as a twosome, play was steady with no waiting at the tees. Starter was enthusiastic about the course and shared some interesting history.
I will definitely play the course when I am in Florida next winter.
Coarse conditions
This course has been recently done over. The course is in poor condition and they’re putting greens were awful. The fairways and roofs are not well-kept. Went to the clubhouse to get a bite to eat after nine holes and cannot buy any food. They said they were not open yet. It was 10:45 AM at all I can get was a bag of chips.
Was turned away by starter from starting the round of golf. He stated there was a group that started ahead of me. So I should go and request a refund. Kinda rude
