Silverado Golf & Country Club

About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Great Course
Great Course. Best bang for your buck in the Zephyrhills/ Wesley Chapel area. Only downside is no water stations around the course or refreshment cart makes it brutal when its hot. Course is fun to play and good pace of play
Nice Course
Good local course. Prices at the very top of reasonable. Careful there. Course in decent shape but needs some work. Tee Times a little too close resulting in backups at the Tees. Food quality and speed of service needs improvement. Still, a good place to play Golf.
Very narrow fairways
The course is laid out under power lines. Extremely narrow. We played after a rain storm so I will not comment on the condition of the fairways but signage and cart paths were nearly non existent. My advice is you get what you pay for.
Good course
Course is always in good condition recommend it to all
Fun
Course habitually overbooked to the point several groups are waiting on the tees at times. Prices rising to the upper edges of reasonable.
Always descent
Got a hot deals for $30. It was in pretty good shape. By no means perfect but the greens were pretty good. Fairways were pretty good too. Tee
Boxes need work but they weren’t awful. Overall the value is real good. Even at full price the course is in better shape than a lot of courses in the area and they cost more. A good layout , cheap price, and good conditions. We play every week at different courses around Tampa/lakeland and we will host here again. Plenty of courses don’t make the cut w us.
Good Value
You get what you pay for. It better than other courses in the area at that price point. 3:00 tee time but disappointingly, the kitchen was closed at 5 when we got to the turn. The pro shop staff was a little confused by online check-in.
Great budget course
Great place to come work on short game and approach shots. Greens are fairly slow but always well maintained. Average round is roughly 35$ and well worth it.
