Great Course Value
Having played in all public courses in 1.5 hour radius from LA city, MM is on top of the list for value for play.
The fairway slopes can cause beginners to struggle hitting good shots and can lead to slight delay in pace.
The course is overall peaceful with ambient nature sounds. Good challenges with a fun layout for decent players.
Alot of mini juniors running around on this course as the area is right next to Cal Poly, an area where households choose to raise their kids since youth.

All Awesome But Bunkers
It had recently rained and the bunkers were hard as rocks. Not much you can do about the weather. Otherwise great course.
Beautiful course.
The course is beautiful and well maintained. Fairways and greens in great shape. The rough is too long for average golfers to work wth but overall great course.
Course is drying out
This is always a fun track.
The recent rains have caused some issues on several holes- especially #14-15.
The rough is still too wet to get the mowers in- so the lies are sloppy.
Greens are smooth and fast !!
Great conditions
First time there in 5 years and was expecting slow play and bad conditions only to be surprised at how good the course is. The group in front was super slow and we called the clubhouse. Within 2 minutes, the ranger spoke to the group and we finished in 4.5 hours on a Friday afternoon. Conditions were pretty good too.
Return Home
Local course played quite a bit as part of junior golf and adult life always in good condition. Staff very friendly.
