Great Course Value
Having played in all public courses in 1.5 hour radius from LA city, MM is on top of the list for value for play.
The fairway slopes can cause beginners to struggle hitting good shots and can lead to slight delay in pace.
The course is overall peaceful with ambient nature sounds. Good challenges with a fun layout for decent players.
Alot of mini juniors running around on this course as the area is right next to Cal Poly, an area where households choose to raise their kids since youth.
Great day of golf!
Player the back nine today for the first time at this course. The course is in great condition. The views and the location were absolutely beautiful. Pace of play was great no excessive delays. Great time and we will definitely be back.
Grill
I would rate the grill at two stars at best , no breakfast ham or any other kind of meat other than sausage and bacon. Orders eggs over medium and got over easy , bacon was so burnt not edible .Go ahead and play here but bring your own food .
Great Condition
The course is in great shape. Greens are tough! Great pace, finished in 4 hours.
Very good shape
The course was in great shape from box to green. We teed off a few minutes early for a 740 tee time. The pace was excellent. Only waited a feet times and the grip behind was a half to full hole behind the whole day. Overall nice round.
Worst course in so cal
This course is by far the worst course I've ever played. They stack tee times within 5 minutes pace of play is terrible. Management is rude all of the employees there. The cart girl sucks. She's the worst cart girl I've ever seen. She post videos of customers to get tik Tok views. Please never go here. Not worth your time
Slow play
i get it’s a weekend but the pace of play was horrible. No Marshall any where on the course 6 hour round. Really????
Good course, challenging lies
Conditions are good, greens are in good shape. Pro shop staff are great. Only issue is groundskeepers are very slow to accommodate incoming golfers. We waited at a tee for several minutes while one mowed a fairway (3 passes) and on another hole, we waited for one to finish mowing around a green. They were definitely aware of our presence.
Tournament take over
Loved the course but was really disappointed in how the course mishandled tee times with a tournament going on. I was not aware a tournament was going on ahead of us and we got yelled at by one of the organizers of tournament. Had no clue it was a tournament in front and if that's the case they need to pay to gap a few tee slots to allow a fair pace of play. We skipped two holes because we had no choice and almost ruined the day.
