Improving course conditions from tees to fairways, removal of some dead trees, course is in good playing conditions and finally there is actual sand in the bunkers now.

I played 18 holes here recently, and the round took almost six full hours to finish. We were stuck waiting on virtually every single tee box and fairway. The layout has a lot of blind hill shots where you can't see where your ball lands, forcing everyone to spend way too much time searching for shots. To make matters worse, the heavy leaf coverage meant I lost some balls—including a few good shots right in the fairway.

The scenery is nice and seeing deer on the course was serene, but the pace of play is simply too frustrating to recommend playing a full round here.

Beautiful layout course. Course in a great condition. Friendly atmosphere and very nice club house.

Goldnow posts course conditions..the course has to notify golf now of maintenance to give golfers that information... Marshall Canyon chose not to... giving swag instead of letting players know of the punched/sanded greens...and charging full price as well as prepayment....

Like the course improvements, better playing conditions and new sand in bunkers. Play on. Friday at noon, Pace of play needs improvement .

This is an enjoyable track and challenging layout. The fairways are lush with few bald spots. The greens are in very nice condition and roll quick.

A few of the tee boxes need some serious work- but overall a very nice experience.

The amount of wildlife on the course is a nice addition.

I would like to see them have an on-course Marshal to maintain a good pace of play !!! We got stuck behind a very slow group of hackers- who were consistently 1-1.5 holes behind, which stacked up the course behind them.

Marshall Canyon was in great condition right now. The fairways are very well kept. But the greens were what really amazed me. If you’ve played here before, you know the greens are notoriously tough. But they were rolling so pure during my round. The bunkers were hit or miss, but I think that speaks more to other players cleaning up after themselves.

I have been playing this course for over forty years and it never disappoints. The course is in great shape, pace of play was good and it’s a fun layout. Staff is very friendly and the off course amenities are great

Truly a gem with expansive views, deer who relax in the shade and have no concern about golfers. Clean bathrooms well maintained. Can’t wait to go back!

The course needs improvements but it descent and playing is fun. The putting is very challenging but greens are well kept. I would play this course again.

My best game ever so I guess im bias but we had a blast. Can on hole 1 at 7am and finished 18 in about 4.5 hours w three guys. Deer everywhere made it unique also.

After 40 years of playing golf in SoCal, I finally tried Marshal Canyon. The course is a fun layout, but a typical municipal course with many holes paralleling each other and the resulting dodging of balls from all directions. I was not a fan of the groundskeepers. We had to wait for a lawnmower on at least 4 different holes, and they don't stop running their machines, whether you are teeing off, putting for birdie, or shooting from the fairway. I understand they need to finish their work, but it's a shame they aren't taught to yield to the guests. Also, the water bucket on the first tee was neglected, with about 1/8 of a bucket of dirty water for my towel. This isn't a big deal, but it is a pet peeve, as that's my 2nd duty after opening the gates at my course.

I'll be back again, but hopefully on a day they aren't mowing.
