San Dimas Canyon Golf Course

Very slow and we were almost hit 3 times by people behind while waiting for people ahead of us. Quit not to get hurt at 13. Useless Marshall

Course was in good shape. Greens are fast with a ton of slope. 3 putted a few times. Pace was a bit slow. I played with 3 folks in there 80’s who insisted on playing the white tees and never hit it more than 150 yards, and still had to wait on groups on some holes. But I was impressed with the course condition. A few long par 3’s!

I have always cherished this golf course for the past 10 years and have consistently been positive about its facilities and course design. However, I was severely disappointed by two operational issues encountered during my recent round.

Inadequate Pace-of-Play Management:

The primary concern was the complete lack of management regarding slow play on the course. I started my round around 12:30PM but was ultimately forced to stop before completing the 14th hole.

This indicates an urgent need to immediately implement and strictly enforce a Pace-of-Play Policy to ensure a satisfactory experience for all guests.

Unprofessional and Rude Starter Staff:

The conduct of the starter staff (an elderly gentleman) at the first tee box was also extremely frustrating due to his rude and unprofessional demeanor.

Even after my scheduled tee time had passed, this employee repeatedly delayed my start, instructing me to "wait" well over 20 times. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable for staff in a front-line customer service position.

5 hour 45 min round. The starter rushed us off the first tee but there was no Marshall to be found after that. Pathetic that it took almost 6 hours

Horrible experience. Staff is unfriendly and yells at golfers, only change the attitude when being reported. Pace of play is horrible, spike marks everywhere on the course. Would have ask for a refund. Just a horrible experience with unpleasant vibe, staff ruined the round.

Course is usually in great shape and staff is friendly.

Currently healing up from being punched a few weeks back.

My one major issue with the course is the horrendous pace of play. Played a 5.5 hour round teeing off around 8am last weekend.

Course isn’t the easiest and definitely tough for high/mid handicappers on the back 9. Group in front fell behind 2 holes by the end of the day and the last 6 holes took almost 2 hours.

For the almost $80 tee time would really appreciate a marshall to keep things moving along.

Had a tee time 12:57 it was on not very many people and the pace was excellent but it was very hot that day. Anyway the course was in great condition. I’ll play it again but it’s going to be earlier of the day and it’s probably going to crowded because of the hot weather.
