Ambassadors Are Useless
We complained to the ambassador about the slow play of the group in front of us. Nothing was done. I know they don't get paid, but why even have them....
Jeff
For a Thursday afternoon pace of play was horrible. I left after 8 holes otherwise I would’ve been on pace for a 6+ hour round as a single.
Great course with reasonable challenges
The course layout is good with enough challenging hazards.
Kids fishing at the pond were a little conernng for their safety.
Very terrible course.
The first parking lot was so small that even though I arrived early, I barely managed to park after a lot of effort.
We started more than 20 minutes later than our scheduled tee time.
They made us share a cart with players who weren't even part of our booked group.
The course was so backed up that the round took well over five and a half hours.
Six hour round
Course was in great condition, unfortunately the foursome in front of our group was playing tips when they should’ve been playing from front tees. The marshal came and told our group to speed up when the group in front should asked to speed up.
Beautiful Course
The golf course was absolutely beautiful. Had a few challenging holes, 14, 15, and 16. But that comes with the game and I don't mind being challenged as I've only been playing for 3 years and hope to one day say it's not so bad. It was a group of four ladies. We all had a lovely time and would definitely golf here again.
Golf Course {Etiquette}
Pace of play Extremely SLOW!
Never saw a Marshall on the track.
Cart person needs to understand
“Golf Etiquette” Don’t be selling in the MIDDLE of a of the fairway…?
Friday Golf
I love San dimas canyon but the pace of play anymore is ridiculous. They need to do something about it and soeed up the pace of play
the marshals still don't get it
This course is always slow, but it could be less slow if the marshals had any clue what they were doing. The group two ahead of us was the problem, with several holes clear ahead of them. Rather than talk to them, the marshal scolded our group for not waving up the group behind us on the par-3s. What's the point? All that does is create a bottleneck on the par-3 in addition to the holes ahead. So the groups behind us finish the par-3 maybe a minute earlier, then give that time back when they get to the next tee and wait even longer than they would have otherwise. It really isn't that difficult to look at where groups are on the course and figure out what's generating the pace problem, but the San Dimas Canyon marshals are, consistently, the worst I have ever seen in terms of understanding what their task is.
5/12 - 6 hour round
If you play Saturday just be ready for a 5/12 - 6 hour round . They also closed the cafe 4pm and ran out of hot dogs at the turn

Absolutely love the course and staff make it a great time for a great round !
Pace of Play
We booked the first tee time of the day. 5:45am. Arrived on time, but for some reason a group jumped ahead of us. Marshall said it was the course staff, but “dont worry you wont see them, they play fast.” Definitely not. The group was slow, had to wait on them numerous times, which bottlenecked the first few groups. I thought it was unacceptable, especially since we booked early to plan on playing a quicker round.
