Bunkers suck.
There is no sand in the bunkers...only hard-packed dirt and rocks. Adding unnecessary strokes to your round due to this is frustrating.
Worst bunkers I've ever experienced!
The bunkers have almost zero playable sand and have rocks/boulders in them the size of baseballs! Just running a rake through them would help a lot. Not sure how they get away with charging rates as high as they do.
Disappointed
Even though the fairways are fine, the bunkers are terrible. They were filled with water and rocks
We had to lay off out of them
Partly Rainy Day and still great conditions
With a lot of rain the previous day and some medium to light rain starting as soon as I hit the first tee, and not stopping until finishing the 5th.. the course played great! I was pleased with how well the course looked and you would have never known that we had flood like rain a day prior. Played here many times over the past few years and it’s always been worth it. Great staff all around and definitely will continue to patronize whenever possible!
Upland Hills Double-Dipped
In a nut shell, I paid twice for my golf cart. Once on GolfNow and the 2nd time at the course. No where does it state on the GolfNow bylaws about a "shared cart" when setting up a tee time. It says 18 holes of golf with cart. I paid $35 for my own cart at Upland Hills. It was a Tuesday not a weekend. You lost my business over $35. As for the course, mediocre at best. Shady business practices at Upland Hills
Bad first impression
I’m just gonna get short and sweet. They lay out of the course and the turn on the back nine is horrible. There’s very very poor pace of play and a very confusing course to find the next holes. No signs or directions will not be returning.
Not Worth a Drive
For an executive course its not run like one. This is a basic muni course, not in great shape. The worst is the pace of play. 5 hour round.
Has potential
Really it’s mainly just the tee boxes and the fairways were in unacceptably poor condition. Players should also be reminded to fix their ball marks on the greens, which there were an excessive amount on every Green so the players need reminders and accountability plus it would be good for course personnel to repair them throughout the day as long as it continues to be a problem. Also, it would be nice if the carts had a ball and club head washer. Everything else was a nice experience.
Worst management ever!!!
Our tee time was at 12, but there was a men’s club tournament ahead of us. The pro shop didn’t bother asking the groups behind us for permission and just squeezed six groups in front of us. We ended up starting an hour late, with no compensation at all.
Because of that, we couldn’t even finish our round. The course conditions were poor, and the layout felt like a low-quality neighborhood course. I would never recommend this place and will definitely not be coming back.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The course is always well maintained no matter what the weather does to it. Employees great you with a smile always a great way to start you round.
Great course up against the foothills
This course is always it great condition, the only issue is the bunkers, they seem like packed dirt, golf here often, most shots are between houses.
4.9/5
The greens were in incredible shape, the fairways in good shape and bunkers in decent shape. Much improved from the last time I played here. Will def come back
Nice day to play but extremely slow play
Not bad but play was really slow 5 1/2 hrs to long to play on a not very challenging course no Marshall to move it along or help the slow pace
