Great course to play in the heat

I picked Upland for a twilight solo game in the 98 degree heat. The cours ehas alot of shade andtree lined so it didnt feel as hot as it was. Course needs some green improveemnts but all in all good golf day.

Had to wait at every hole

Overbooked, tee time at 737 had to wait for the three other groups waiting when I got to the 1st tee. And it was like this the rest of the course. Less than halfway I requested a partial refund and they said they could not approve. The cart girl did great with all of the groups waiting around the course.

Close to home and quick pace of play

I really enjoy this course, it’s close to home. I could get a sporadic round in and not take all day long. It’s close to my home and convent, weekends can get a little expensive but during the week play is inexpensive.

My take

Upland is a shorter course. But it is narrow. The greens are always in good shape and putting is tricky. Pace of play is pretty decent. Yesterday my twosome went off at 3pm and nobody was in front of us the entire round. That varies of course, but typically you can finish a round in 4 to 4 and a half hours. They don't pack you in like sardines and the flow is pretty good. They have a bar and café as well. Fun course to play.

Great day of Golf

From the moment I stepped in to the pro shop, I was greeted with a friendly face. Steve the Starter was very helpful and friendly getting us out on time. The course has been maintained well in the last 6 months. Everything fairway is nice and green with a few spots under repair. The rough is nice I guess, I try to stay out of it when possible. The greens are excellent they have been kept up great. The restaurant staff is awesome. Miss the cart girls in the twilight hours. Overall Upland Hills Country Club has become my go to place for Golf.
