Golfer Reviews
Not for the average player
Unless you're a low handicapper, you will not enjoy this course. Lay up after lay up. My god what were they thinking? Don't think I will ever play this course again.
Tough course for beginners
there sre 4/5 holes are demanding good tee shots.rest of the holes are not bad.you are not allowed to walk here.there is a reson for that. it is hilly & long from one tee to other.you will be exhauted,if you walk here.clud house need some work.very small
Great shape!
We almost cancelled the round because of rain and thunder for the majority of the day. We teed off at 4pm and it had stopped raining (heavily) around 3. With the exemption of a very few damp spots it was almost like it hadn't rained at all. The greens were very fast and challenging and the course was in pristine shape. It is one of the more difficult courses I play but always brings me back for the beauty and challenge. Wish i could play it daily.
Great layout, some exciting carries of the tee.
I just really like the courses design, its long, there's some beautiful elevated holes, fun tee shots. The pace seems to usually be pretty good. Only thing is clubhouse is basically a trailer, which is odd since its such a nice track, but another plus is its well priced. As far as my options go living where I do, this course proves to be a go to.
Tough but sweet
Great round at a tough course...Nice challenge and stunning surroundings
True test of your golf abilities
Put up or shut up course
Bring your A game
This is not for the club house crowd course
Enjoy the challenge here
The marshals need to pick up pace of play
Excellent golf course , number 10 is a little stupid but besides that it's in mint condition I would recommend it to anyone. It's my go to in the hamilton area
Course is in great shape
Course is great. Very challenging - maybe too much for high handicappers. Price is right given its distance from the gta. Pace of play was brutally slow -over 5 hrs to play on a Friday at 1pm. Except for the slowness I would definitely play again.
Scenic and Challenging Course
This course is in great shape, and the greens run extremely true. It is a challenging course with plenty of long carries over valleys and water, so not for the faint of heart. Very nice practice area as well. All of the money was spent on the course, so don't expect much in the way of a club house which is actually more of a trailer. An excellent golf course and I definitely plan to return!
Top ranked Golf North course
I truly enjoy playing this course. It's always in amazing condition and it challenges your golf game to every limit. Definitely designed for the long ball hitters lol
good experiance
good club house reception, on time starting time and great pace of place on a scenic and good condition course , that is a good test for a avarge golfer
Natural setting close to home
Each hole has its own character making the course unique. I am a single digit handicap that chose to play from the gold/silver set of tee blocks, at almost 6400 yards the premium was placed on knowing your yardage and positioning each shot.
The course was great value for the conditions and course layout. The price certainly does not reflect the quality of course, it is challenging with its forced carries and trouble at every turn. Chose your tee blocks carefully.
Make sure to choose the correct tee box
Mystic is a challenging course so it is very important to play from the proper tee box for your skill level. Length off the tee is a premium as there are lots of holes which requires 200+ carry off the tee. Playing off the correct tee box will allow you to enjoy your day on the course. Course is in wonderful condition.
Great Course
Course is one of the best in the area. The grounds are kept in great shap and it appears they have put some effort into fixing the bunkers as many people have made that criticism. Make sure you pick tee blocks which suit your game as its a tight course with some big forced carries If the tee. I will for sure play this course again this year.
Great shape
The course was in great shape. Greens ran very smooth. Only downside was it took five hours to play
mystic
Bunkers are terrible, pace of play too slow and ninth and tenth holes could use revision. That being said it is one of the best in the area.
Great Track!
Although they overbooked my last visit, I will still defiantly play again and recommend it to others.
Lots of wildlife to watch while your waiting, lol
