tough course
keep it in the fairway or pay the price in golf balls. Lots of forced carries that require long straight shots made even harder if the wind is up which it is on several holes. The course is well manicured and greens are constantly improving from 1st visit.
The Ball Gobbler
Mystic is a true test of golfer skills and couse management. Bring plenty of snacks for the wooded monster that skirts along the twisted boundaries of this well carved adventure.
Great day
Tricky when you play the first time but for 52 bucks with a cart through Golfnow great value for the money
love it here
I try to play here a few times a season; very challenging; some really tough holes (9,10,18) Course was busy but moved along nicely with minimal waits. Done in just over 4 hrs.
Course was in excellent shape; greens fast; tees and fairways well maintained. Rough was long and difficult to hack out of. All in all, a very challenging test of golf where you need your full arsenal of shots. If you want to really see where your game is, play Mystic.
I say YES!!
Have played here twice. 2nd time even more fun. You have to think about shots not just get up and hit. I would and have highly recommended it to friends. Great band for your buck which is tough in this day and age!!!
Great Course
Great course. You need to be accurate from the tee. Great for advanced golfers. Only bad thing is that there are no water stations on the course. We played with a humid ex of 40 and the cart with the drinks only show twice
Excellent Greens
Consistently true-rolling greens that are in excellent condition, were a welcome change to the greens at many of the local courses in and around Burlington this season. It's very difficult to hit a ball out of the long and thick fescue. Very nice driving range, with separate putting and chipping greens for warming-up prior to first tee shot.
GREAT VALUE
Played 18 with my wife on Sun. Another single joined up. Very difficult course, greens and fairways in very good shape. If you cannot break 105 I wouldn't play this. Front nine especially. All pretty good holes except #10. Have to be able to fly 230 to have a chance to clear hazard.
Mystic Golf
The course was challenging and the first couple times around if would be good to play with someone who has played it before. The only negative is the bunkers, basically just hard dirt with alot of rocks.
Mystic
Overall the course was in very nice shape. Greens ran true and with some speed which I prefer. Although Marshall's were said to be on the course, pace of play a little slow. Turned out to be a 5 hour round
Mystic experience not good
I treated my wife, brother and nephew to a golf game. My brother and I are avid golfers and score reasonably well wherever we go.
Although it was a very hot steamy day, I was very disappointed that the Pro shop did not prepare for this hot day, cater to the customer needs nor show any interest in keeping the golfers on the course hydrated!
The Pro Shop staff took the position that hey, you should ask or purchase water if concerned. That would have been great if we ever saw the Beverage Cart. Played 9 holes and at the turn I almost lost my party to heat exhaustion and to dehydration. The only time we saw a Marshall was on the last hole where he was more concerned about taking the cart off the path and on the fairway although the course was bone dry.
Not returning soon.

Mystic
Teed off before 9
Great rates on GolfNow
Good conditioned course
Marshall's were friendly and making sure pace of play was followed
Looking forward to returning again
Good Value
Course was in good shape. Started as single and paired up on back nine with good group as play slowed.
Mystic Adventure
A great day, price, and golf course. This is a must play course.
test your game
Hadn't been here in a few years and the course has matured and was in great playing shape. My playing partners were from Calgary and Halifax and they were very impressed especially with the rates we payed. No doubt its a bit of a test but just temper your expectations and enjoy it. Not an accommodating staff, we tried to bump our tee time by one spot and they couldnt figure that out even with another group on the tee ready to go.
Hit it straight and long and you will be fine
Tough course. Played up from the silvers and still had many forced carries over ravines. Very narrow fairways and trouble everywhere. Slow round due to numerous lost balls.
Course was in great shape.
Play This Course Wisely
I will definitely be back... for revenge that is. I didn't play well and this course had it's way with me. The pace was slow, but probably because it's easy to loose balls on some holes and some golfers spend too much time looking for them. The staff were very friendly and the course was in great shape, which makes me wonder why there was a 90 degree cart rule in effect. Many holes require you to play wisely, because if you don't your score will quickly inflate. Course knowledge or GPS would be a real plus here. And you'll need all of your clubs.
Long day, long carries
5 hours for a round of golf on a Thurdsday afternoon is way too long for me. Overall, it was a great course and in top condition. Really need more direction for the golfers; signs on each tee deck would be nice, yardage of forced carries would assist in the speed of play as well.
