Mystic Golf Club

A great fair test of golf. Need to avoid the big number. Keep it simple and play your own game. Lay up when you should and take the chance if and when possible. Will go back for sure asap

Was scheduled to play with three others...mix up and played between a foursome and twosome. Felt a little rushed, but had a good time and a fair round.

There was nothing I could complain about the course. Large greens in good shape. Challenging tee shots and a pleasure to play. Some very interesting holes. On my list to play several more times.

Although it was a long round of golf...not because of the pace of play but the length of the holes and the challenge of each hole made the holes longer time to play. HOLE 10 is one of most interesting holes that I have played in the area. Course is a must play and the price is well worth it..50.00.

The overall condition was fantastic fairways were great shape. Greens could be a little faster but in great shape otherwise. The ball marks on the green seem to have been repaired for the most part. ( big pet peve). The course is a lot of fun to play. Great risk reward opportunities once your familiar with the layout. Sand traps were a little firm but understandable with the past weather. Tee boxes a level ( another pete peve).
I will be back.

Though the facilities are limited (no clubhouse) the course itself is amazing, picturesque and very challenging. Conditions were superb and the greens were perfect. Bring your A- game !!!

Have played at Mystic many times. Generally play from gold, silver or combination of gold and silver tees. Very strong layout that tests every club in the bag from short par 4's to long par 5's. Course is always in good condition, fairways and greens.

Challenging course with a few blind shots. It was great shape and greens very consistent and in good shape.

this course looks like it will need better care of sand traps and tee boxes soon or will go "downhill"

The Good:Course is in good condition with some spotty greens, but compared to others in the area greens not bad. Very friendly staff.
The Bad: way too long of a round (little over 5hrs) and everyone was in a cart. Hole #10 should be a par 6 not 5. Not sure what kind of cut job they did on the long grass, but leaving all the long hay like cuttings made us lose some balls that we never should have lost. I know if you miss the fairway, the shot should be challenging, but I wish I could have found a ball to give myself a challenge. Also, they need to replace sand in bunkers. Very very hard green side bunkers with drainage pipes visible.

This course is very nice layout and wonderful condition.

First time using GolfNow and everything worked perfect. Booked the round with ease received a confirmation email immediately and when I got to the course the staff knew exactly that it was a GolfNow tee time and had the correct price.
The golf course was in very good shape despite the extremely cold and snowy winter we had. It has a lot of character and several tee boxes to challenge all skill levels. Most important were the exceptional greens which putted true and relatively fast. The one complaint was the poor quality of several of the bunkers. Overall however this was a great experience.

Beautiful layout, well maintained. If you keep it in the fairway, this will be a great round. Spraying it at this course comes with heavy penalties. Well worth coming here.

Not knowing the course makes it very difficult. Lots of blind shots.

Mystic is an outstanding test of golf and is not for beginners. Because of the number of inexperienced players on the course, our round took 5h 40 minutes. This is unacceptable for a pace of play. The Marshalls were absolutely ineffective. I will definitely not return to this course on a weekend.

Please be warned that this course is SUPER SLOW! The longest round of golf of my life. 6 HOURS!! That is unacceptable in this day and age of lots of options and struggling course. The layout is very good for intermediate and above skill levels. Not for beginners. There are a few holes that require a 180 - 240 yds carry. Condition of course was better then expected given our winter. Practice facility is average. Carts are mandatory and plodding gas powered relics. Love the course but hate the mandatory cart and SUPER SLOW PACE OF PLAY!

Saw refreshment Cart on the 4th. and 17th. The Rough was not playable by a couple of our 4 some; 16 handicappers. We chose to play from the Silver, Thank God for our Good judgement, cause anything longer would have turned into at least three members leaving in mid round.
Some of the toughest holes ie. 18 were Cart path only ..... all others 90 degree on Fairway. Not sure we are going back any time real soon.

booked 10 36 tee time were told they were behind 6 groups ahead of us teed off at 11 20. 5 1/2 hrs to play waited every tee I will not be in a hurry to play here again !

We played yesterday...and with the condition of the course they should have payed us to be there
