About
Ballantrae Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course with a classic links layout reminiscent of those found in Scotland. The golf course has undulating greens, many of which are elevated, and the player-friendly fairways are quite generous. The layout is challenging with more than 50 acres of water hazards and treacherous greenside bunkers. The front nine gently eases you into the game, but the back nine is where the golf course truly shines, especially holes 11-14. Ballantrae Golf Course boasts interesting risk-and-reward opportunities combined with shots that will appeal to long hitters. There are also three tee decks for golfers to choose from.

This course is tough but fair. Wide open fairways with elevated greens and shaved aprons.
Played on a somewhat windy day which made club selection on the approaches tough. I suspect that the design intends to have wind as part of the course defense. Awesome challenge.
Great Day at Ballantrae
Got a deal through GolfNow, showed up early and had no problems going out right away. Blew through the course in 3 hours and just beat the rain on the 18th hole, it was awesome. Definitely looking forward to coming back!
Great track
The overall condition and layout of this course is superb. the staff in the pro shop on the course and restaurant where great and the price through GolfNow was outstanding
One of my favourites...
As reviewed before, this course is one of my (if not the) favourite courses in the GTA, especially on a HotDeal. Conditions this time were cool, but the course was in good shape. Finished a round in 3 hrs!
Sensational Fall Day
The fairways were aerated. No big deal. The greens needed to be. They rolled nicely but were very hard. The weather was unbeatable. We really enjoyed our round.
Beautiful hidden jem in GTA
I always enjoy to go out Ballantrae. Especially under this great autum day. Designed by Doug Carrick who also designed Cobble Beach, Lebovic, Eagle Nest, Osprey, Angus Glen, Muskoka Bay.. needless to say high end golf courses in CANADA. And at the price from GolfNow. Course and greens are in good conditions, staff are friendly and helpful. Pace was good I finished in 4hours. I love to go back there soon if weather is like this.

Ballantrae
Very nice course. Wide fairways with tricky green complexes. So it allows easy enough drives but more difficult approaches to the greens which roll really well. Par 3's are short but tricky from the white tees. Would recommend this course to anyone. Friendly staff and good driving range.
