Southbrook Golf and Country Club
About
Nestled in the quaint village of Binbrook, Southbrook Golf & Country Club has a charmingly idyllic yet convenient location that is only minutes from the QEW, the 403, and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway. The club first opened in 1969 with a nine-hole golf course, which was later expanded to 18 holes in 1972. A renovation of the golf course resulted in a redesign of five holes on the front nine and a new irrigation system. Southbrook Golf & Country Club now plays to a 6,560 yards and its new challenges demand precision and keen course strategy. The meandering Welland river snakes through the golf course as well, coming into play on 13 holes while also enhancing the natural beauty of the course.

Southbrook Golf & Country Club
Coarse is in the best condition I 've seen it in years, great value,
Thanks Golfnow, Angelo Fazzari
Bone dry
Nice course lay out., good for any level of golfer. My problem was it was bone dry. With all the rain we had this year how is that possible. Greens had to airraieded, we all know what that means. Awful putting. Some of the tee blocks where uneven and in pretty rough shape.
Great price for decent course
A foursome of average duffers played this course and found it a decent challenge. Course is in good shape. Play moved well. Beverage service was good. Club house was good. It is fairly open and forgiving. If you are an avid golfer with low handicap, you may not feel challenged. Hot deal on Golfnow made it an excellent value.
Great course
Course in great shape. Staff very friendly. Will play again.
Nice Changes!
Southbrook has gone through a few changes over the years and is much better for it. The new layout and bunkers certainly add to the feel of the course. I have to admit that the deal I got on GolfNow was pretty spectacular, so, it was worth every penny. Rains had fallen the previous two days making the greens very receptive. As well, the greens were pretty shaggy and slow. The course itself was in pretty decent shape and if I received a similar deal, I would certainly return for another round.
good day
Good course only problem was the rough was too long. Slowed play a bit looking for what should be been easy to find balls. But I enjoyed myself very much
Course in good condition but...
Tee blocks were very hard to get a tee into as they were rock hard. Greens were very hard too as ball would bounce and roll off. Should water tees and greens to improve overall course condition. Fairways were good with plenty of roll. Pace of play was good on front but group in front had 3 open holes in front of them on back and were very slow. Marshall should have over them along or allowed play through
course ok
course was ok but weather was cold but they did offer 9 hole rain check which was nice
Good start to season
Course in good condition considering winter. Some areas were roped off because of damage. Very cool conditions 3C.
Good conditions early season
Very windy and cool , but course in good conditions for this time of year. Only low areas were quite wet and ad to move ball a couple of times. Overall a good day of golf.
Very Enjoyable Course
Great Day, great course. Nice layout, course in very good condition from tee blocks to green. Some small greens, and quick. Check the slope as a putt can get away from you. Worth every penny.
$26.99 Deal
Went with my dad, course was tough for him because hes old and we have really been out much. Lots of trees but overall our tee shots were in the fairways. the greens were damp a little but the consistency from green to green was great. You easily could get a handle on the speed after a couple holes. The marshal was friendly and checked in on us because we were 2 behind a trio and let us know we could move ahead if they take a break after nine. Very enjoyable round for sure and well worth it at 30 dollars or so a piece
Southbrook golf
fairways are brutal and have not recovered sufficiently from spring flooding. GREENS WERE VERY GOOD AND TRICKY SOMEWHAT ON THE HARD SIDE.Very nice layout with a good mix of varied holes. Greens are mostly crowned so you need to watch your approach shots.
Great Day
Course was in great shape!
Only problem was pace of play!
Good Course, Sub par Staff
I thought the golf course itself was pretty well maintained and had a lot of shot variety. It was a nice mixture of some long par 5s and a few shorter par 3s. Pretty good course with various sand traps and water hazards mixed in to add some excitement.
The tee boxes were a little on the dry side and fairly hard but I guess thats too be expected for this time of year.
I would have rated it higher if the gentleman at the club shop was fairly rude myself and another guest while we were trying to pay. Coming up behind me and yanking the 'Golf Now' reservation out of my hand and proceeding to inflate the agreed upon price while complaining about the deal we got is not a great way to start the day.
I hope it was a bad day for him and he doesn't usually treat paying customers that way regardless of the deal.
All in all, the course was very nice, customer service sub par.
A Good Course for Most Golfers
This is a fairly typical course for this area. It can play a little, particularly if there is a significant wind, as a lot of the longer holes are into the prevailing wind. The course surface was quite hard and could have been watered more regularly. The tee blocks were very hard. The greens were quite good and of a good speed, but not super fast.
