About
Glen Eagle Golf Club, which is situated just northwest of Toronto, offers 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Red/Blue Course features undulating fairways and large, heavily contoured greens that move fast. The Red nine is the most difficult of the three nines at the club. It demands keen course management skills and accurate tee shots. It also requires a few long drives at 3, 521 yards form the tips. The Blue nine is challenging as well, but there are birdie opportunities on the 5th and 7th since their greens aren't elevated like all of the others.

Great bang for your buck
Glen Eagle has always been a good value course. Not pristine shape but fairly decent and definitely great Value for what they charge. Only major criticism, may be time to change some carts.

Course was in fair shape despite being late in the season. Good value. Rate of play was proper. Would play there again.
For beginners
Course is in terrible shape for “real” golfers. I can see why beginners enjoy it but not worth 100$ (70$ max). Never playing again.
It’s close by and convenient for a quick round
For the general location being close to the city and easy to get to, it’s good value for the money. Course conditions are good particularly in the fall season when it rains more. The course drains well. Greens are in fair condition and kept well.
Pace of play is really left to the players. I rarely see a marshal on the course.
Saturday in October
First, great course. Few tee boxes were in poor condition but overall tough and rewarding course. We arrived at 7:30 to a line up of cars because the front gate was locked. We waited 20 minutes before the staff arrive.
There was an hour and a half frost delay. Tee time was for 8am, we teed off at 9:30am.
Little confusion on the first tee, but that’s what’s going to happen when you have 20+ people standing around waiting too tee off.
Course played well. No one cutting the greens or fairways this morning. Cart girl was around for the entire round and the Marshall was very noticeable all round as well.
We’ll be back!
Solid course - Bit too expensive
Definitely a nice course but I wouldn't pay that much to play there again unless we were low on options. The greens were in poor shape but it is October but everything else condition wise was good.
Seems to be common though in Ontario where pretty nice/average courses cost way too much.
