Much than expected! A solid challenge for high and mid handicappers!
I went with quite low expectations because of the other reviews, and left with a great impression, and would definitely go back! It’s worth mentioning that I paid $18.99 for a round.
The staff I interacted with at the small shop (which has some golf equipment for sale, as well as beer) were incredible friendly. And there is a small practice green to practice putting before going on the course, which is a nice touch for a course at this price point.
The course itself has everything you need to challenge all aspects of your golf game. The par 5s are great and the water breaking up the fairways offers a nice risk/reward factor for aggressive golfers. The greens are pretty small, so par 3s require fairly good accuracy, otherwise, you’ll find yourself in the rough - which is pretty well maintained and not too thick. The greens are quite slow with some minor undulations to provide a great challenge for newer/beginner golfers.
All in all, this is one of the best value-for-money golf experiences I’ve had. Bar one fairway (hole 8) and tee box (hole 9), the course is in fairly good condition and seems pretty well maintained. This is definitely a great place to go if you’ve been golfing for less than a year, or you’re trying to get back in to golf after a break, or if you just enjoy a casual round of golf with your buddies while enjoying a few cold beers.
Decent course
Hey great price ! And popular hours course was available went at a good pace .no rush
To enjoy your game!
poor course
for $37 there’s much better 9 hole courses to play at like peel village…never again
Decent Course
Playing conditions are good..can enhance the course with some Trees/greenery to have a better feel
No Etiquette
Everything about this huge 9 hole course is outstanding. EXCEPT, one man on their maintenance crew deserves a club to the head. At 11:30 am he was still mowing hole 3 for starters, secondly mowing on full throttle blades open spraying grass in my direction no more than 25 ft away. I let it go. The very next hole he decided to do the same thing except this time he was within a meter of my cart/brother/belongings. After shouting/asking how close he planned on getting to me I got a no response because of course he couldn’t speak English (big surprise in Canada). What I did get was a bunch of yelling gibberish back. I was never aware an individual could be so ignorant on a golf course. Completely ruined my round and definitely did not turn for another 9.
Good value.
Good value. 9 holes but long. Not an executive course.
Nice employee
Course condition was not bad.
Working people are very nice and friendly!
Stay away
Avoid this. Fairway not maintained, duck dropping all over the place, construction around, just unkempt place.
