Good Day
First time playing here this year. Course was in good condition. Fairways were fair. Greens were rolling well, however other players need to repair their ball marks. 11th hole I fixed 17 ball marks.
The clubhouse was chaotic. The value was not there in their food.
Enjoyed the day. Will play again.
Suggest only booking on GolfNow.com because it is a lot cheaper than phoning in or just showing up.
Challenging course but fair
I recommend this course (good value for the price).
Longest round of golf ever played
Played one round that took over 5 hours. No starter, no marshalls and over 10 min wait at each tee box. Lucky it was a golf now deal or i would ask for my money back.
Great course
Great course overall. Very friendly. Well maintained.
I've enjoyed playing this course many times but unfortunately this course does not drain very well. The unusual rainfall this season has hurt the conditions terribly. This course has some excellent holes with great shot values and under a normal season of weather is a great experience. Hole 14 and 15 are great holes and can determine the outcome of your score for the day. It's a very enjoyable layout and when not under water a course my group enjoys playing very much.
Great shape
The course was in very good shape and we enjoyed our round. We were, however, held up from time to time, and without this happening it would have been great. The staff were welcoming and friendly, that helped to make the day. I recommend this course, which offers a number of challenges.
Wet!!
Didn't realize that Ajax had had some rain as Course can be a bit squirrelly .. so had some poor lies and mud balls in fairway.. normally like playing out here to so was a pity... won't stop me going back however as quite enjoy the lay out
A nice day to golf
Some Fairways still wet, 90-Degree Rule for powercart at the course. Green are slow, but the course condition is acceptable. Staffs are super friendly. Highly recommended
Not Worth the Price
- Can't believe they charge $97 to play this course.
- Course was extremely wet so cart path only was enforced which made an extremely slow round even slower.
- Cart paths were like driving through a minefield. Pot holes, roots growing through, huge puddles, exposed drainage pipes.
- Greens were still very aerated (May 22).
- Nothing about the course made it worth the cost to play.
- Very surprised because Stonehenge (another Bruces Rewards Course) is constantly in great condition, no matter what time of year.
- I understand that pace of play is hard to enforce and weather conditions are uncontrollable but personally, I would not pay more than $50 to play this course again.
Lakeridge Links
good condition for this early in the year. Front desk was not very courteous.
Wait Till It Drys Out
This course holds a lot of water.......
Greens were punched.....
Cart paths are in need of major repair.......
Some tee decks are not in good shape......
When its in great shape, it's always a nice track to play. Give it a few more weeks!
Very Poor conditions
They fertilizers the whole course and it was rain in the morning and the night before. The water drainage wasn't good to absorb the rain. So whenever i hit my ball , it picked up a chunk of black soils and all the fairways were totally wet. I had to pick up my ball and cleaned at every shot. I couldn't find a dry grass to hit my ball. My shoes were covered with mud and dirt. The car path was terrible with lot of pot holes and water.
Only me and 5 others played yesterday. I should go back to the pro shop and asked for rain check but I didn't . With this condition, they shouldn't let people play at all. I saw more black dirt and soils than grass
The course is in the bad shape.
