Lakeridge
Greens were aerated, very slow and bumpy! Golf now should inform their customers of these conditions in the near future! Overall satisfaction was pleased to be able to golf with snow the night before. Very wet fairways and rough, some casual water on tee boxes.
Review of Clubhouse Bar...
The service was tremendously bad, the workers were very unwelcoming and had a negative attitude. On top of that, the glass ware (cups and pitcher) were not cleaned properly and it was disgusting! The management needs to really wake up.
nice
nice course, I will return when it's a bargain, I paid full price when I could have played elsewhere at a discount, not too far from home
Great Round in the fall
Played a great round, very friendly staff. Both the front desk staff and starter were very accommodating.
Lakeridge Links
Played Lakeridge Links in the early afternoon on a somewhat cool and windy day.
Having played here before on a few occasions, I knew going into today's round that the course would play on the more difficult side of things. Mainly due to the challenging greens.
Having thought the previous day's rain would provide some relief on the greens, it really only played out as having to follow the 90 degree rule for carts.
Fairways were forgiving enough due to their layout (only a few are tight off the tee). Greens, however, were running as if they had been dry for several weeks, with a few going the other way...just after getting use to the speed.
Overall, the course was great and I would definitely play again.
Great Course - Pace needs improvement
It had been about 3 years since I last played the Links. One of the reasons I stopped going out was a consistently slow pace of play. Very unfortunate as the layout is challenging and the conditions are great. Greens are a great speed, they hold nicely and roll pretty true. Great mixture of holes allowing for both the power game and accuracy. I will keep going back periodically in hopes to play a round in 4 1/4h or less.
Dave Irvine at Lakeridge Links
The course was immaculate in condition. Tee blocks were level and maintained, fairways and roughs were in excellent condition and the greens were very nice.
The same old problem with public courses.... no one fixes their divots on the greens and you can see tire marks past the point of "no carts" signs. You should have to pass a test in etiquette and get certified to play golf.
Overall a great course that I would have missed had it not been for golf now. I will be heading back there this weekend.
Regards..... Dave I.
Lakeridge lakes
It rained very hard prior. Sat in the club house for a couple of hours where the service was forgettable! Terrible is an understatement
needs a make over
Looks great until you get out there, course was soaked, cart path was the worst I'v seen(holes, uneven). Even tho it rained 2 days ago - I played deer creek a day before and it wasn't wet at all. hopefully they can clean it up
5 1/2 hours of standing around
nice course but who ever is booking the tee times needs to re evaluate their practice. Making people stand around and wait five minutes for every shot???
Sometimes 12 people at a tee. I can understand why golf is dying. Unfortunate because it is a good course.
Beautiful greens
Very enjoyable day! Course was in great shape. Staff were excellent. Defiantly will play here again.
over crowded
i could only play 12 holes and i gave up and left. it was just to slow. 3 sets of foursomes on each hole for every hole in front of us. 10 minute wait on every shot. finnished the first nine and there was two foursomes waiting to tee off. I ask if we could just play front nine again and they were nice enough to let us. two holes in and agian just backed right up. Since I booked it on golf now I wasnt getting a refund so i chaled it up as a loss and left. I have played this course before I never saw it so busy and I do really like it
Lake ridge a Great challenge
Great course and people very challenging. The reception was warm and friendly. The greens very challenging and fast. Many forced Carries on par 4's over creeks. Course management must.
Great as always
This course is great for golfers of all abilities, except perhaps the novice, as there are a lot of tough shots.....especially on the back nine. The greens are in great shape and challenging to anyone; quick, but fair. There are lots of opportunities to make interesting shots, yet the course is not so long as to be unfair to those who don't hit the ball very far. A great day!
This course is the real deal
Lakeview has a great combination of course layout and design, natural beauty and course length to challenge any golfer. Water, fast greens, generous fairways and varying green and tee box elevations combine for an exciting but not overwhelming experience. The trick is to choose the tee box that is appropriate for your skill level.
I really like this course!!
Decent
Challenging elevation changes protect this course well. Nice variation in greens size, and the greens were in nice condition.
Lakeridge
Had fantastic day. We were early so starter let us go out early by ourselves. No one hassled us or bugged us very enjoyable round. 31/2- 4 hour round excellent, greens are big and difficult to read.
This course is challenging
I love this course, it is great for beginners and advanced golfers alike
Tour greens
the course plays relatively easily but the greens can be very challenging.
