Hidden Lake Golf Club - Old Course

Course was average at best. No signature or memorable hole....

Despite the greens being in pour shape due to prep for the next season, it was an enjoyable round due to overall course conditions. Pace was a little slow, but the weather was nice and so was the company.

Came out as a single. Joined a friendly group on a gorgeous day. Course was a pleasure to play.

I would recommend playing here.

Very poor service.

The problem with this course is only one thing. Pace of play. 5 1/2 hr round and teeing off at 4 pm.

Had a great time, cart girl was great and the half way house girl was great

Couldn't believe that 18 holes with cart was $5 plus tax and online fees - under $9 all in. When checking in at the course I was informed that it was a mistake - their mistake and they honored the deal. Two other Golf Nowers (Peter and Dylan) also took advantage of the deal and we had a great game. Course was in great condition, great shots were rewarded, bad shots not severely punished. Pace of play was OK at just under 4hrs. One criticism is that the land available for 36holes is not quite enough and stray balls were a danger on many holes. Would put this course in the $40 including cart being well worth the money category.

I have played approx a dozen rounds staring in March this year and these greens on the old course were the worst greens I have played on this year or for while. They were bumpy and slow like putting on the fairway. there was no sign of aeration. Typically Hidden Lake greens are good and quick but they were pathetic and ruined the round.

Although the course was a little dry, it was in decent shape. The greens were at a good speed for this time of year.

For this time of year the course was in great shape. The fairways and rough were in good shape, and the green were running true. Pace of play was excellent. I'd play there again and recommend hidden lake to other players!!

I booked this on Golfnow and both courses the old and new were listed. The new course had an advisory posted that they were using Temp Greens. This advisory was not listed on the old course so I assumed it was fully open. Not the case. There were temp greens that were not even temp greens just pins in the fairway in front of green. If I had known this I would have booked elsewhere. The advertisement by golfnow was misleading. However I think this would be a great course when fully opened.

I hate temporary greens and that's what I got. Can't complain, green fee was only $20 + tax etc. Played New course as it was less busy, really deserted.

Whole course was temporary greens and tee decks are set way in front.
If we knew it was all temporary greens we would not played this course

I was half joking when I said it to my playing partners the more I think about it the more it makes sense give yourself a chance at the birdies and eagles

No fault of the courses but due to the time of the year the greens have a ton of leaves and sticks in the helicopters on them so do yourself a favor and clear your self a path and enjoy the gem

We picked a great day to play 18 holes on the Old Course at Hidden Lake. We played from the blue tees and the course was quite tight with a lot of trees lining both sides of most fairways. The greens and fairways were in excellent condition especially for mid-October.I would definitely play this course again!

Played the new course as the old course was slow with a tournament. Course was in great shape, the greens deceptively slow.

It may have just been bad timing, but the pace of play was tedious. 9 holes took over 2 hours !!!
I had a tee time of 5:33 and didn't get off till 5:45pm

The course itself was in decent shape and had some challenging holes-I will try it again.

Try cutting the tee boxes and fairways. Greens, horrible. I expect more from a clublink course.

The course plays really well, i little bumpy on the fairways, but greens are in good condition. A little curious how a Clublink course is so easily available to the general public for $60.00 a round on Golfnow. Will definitely return, love the Old Course, it has a lot of character.
