Cranberry Golf Course
About
Cranberry Golf Course was carved from the picturesque landscape of southern Georgian Bay and has the distinction of being Canada’s first Audubon Society-certified golf course. There is some slight undulation in the bent grass fairways but overall the terrain is flat, making it accessible for beginners since there are no dramatic elevation changes or severely uneven lies. The front nine has numerous water hazards and plays a bit longer than the back nine due to a handful of lengthy par 5s. Cranberry Golf Course's back nine plays shorter and dryer but there are difficult doglegs and several large, strategically placed sand traps. There are also grass bunkers and contouring around the greens for added challenge.

Cranberry Golf Course
The golf course was nice and in good shape, but the pace of play was painfully slow and there were no marshals to move it along. 2 hr. 45 min. to finish front nine. It was so backed up that we only got to play 12 holes as it would have been too dark to finish. I found it frustrating!
Great Collingwod course
The course was in great condition. The fairways are wide and spongy, the greens are fast and tricky. Lots of tee blocks for different skill levels and there is also a fair amount of deep rough, woods and water to get into if you're not careful. You don't have to hit a straight ball but if you're a hacker that likes to spray the balls everywhere than bring lots of balls.
Good course Slow Play
I really enjoyed the course
Some of the surrounding views are beautiful
Nice and a Good Challenge
The weather helped make this day spectacular...sun not too hot. Course in good shape...staff very friendly and helpful...Thought the senior ladies in front were slow but it wound up the group of 4 young males ahead of them where the tie up. Overall a good place to play a round.
Player Beware!
A well maintained course spoiled by inept staff and a terribly slow pace of play. The starter had no control on organizing the order of play, and there was no course marshal to ensure a reasonable pace of play on this over-crowded parking lot.
Hit it straight
Beautiful course , but a must to stay in the short stuff. The rough is a killer. Once off the fairway and you say good by to your ball.
Things are looking up
This facility is working to improve the golf outing experience, better practice area, less standing water, expanded after-golf restaurant/deck, renovated golf holes, a beverage cart, a starter, and a course assistant. (The latter three often not there in the past). The course was in good shape, except for some tee areas. A pleasant round there overall.
4+ star course
Greenside bunkers excellent, greens very good to excellent condition (could be quicker to ramp up the challenge level). We play this course any time we stay in Collingwood. Our group includes mid to high handicaps. Value for money was very high due to great GolfNOW rate. We weren't disappointed and will play here again next year.
Good value at resort location
Great location close to Blue Mountain resort. Friendly staff.
High expectations; poor outcome.
This is supposedly a resort course. Our expectations were met with disappointments:
* very dusty cart paths
*mediocre staff service who told us to go up the stairs to the bar to fill our dusty ice coolers. The only friendly person was the "ambassador" who checked up on us and facilitated the slow pace of play.
* tee boxes uneven and poorly maintained
* poor direction to the next tee as there were no hole #s and yardage. Can't rely on score card alone to find next hole.
Great day for golf, the course is in nice shape, except for the bunkers, they need improvement.
Nice if Elvis played longer, more people would have stayed back. Rating this a B+ course. Enjoyed the day however stilling shooting over 100, tough to get it under 100, but right in around there, more rounds are needed for improvement. I will be back.
Awesome greens
Course was in great shape. Greens were great and true! T boxes were a little rough.
Good Links Course
Excellent course and resort.
Playing was backed up though...
People were playing from the back tees that hit 200 yard drives...That caused the hold up.. They had no business doing this and caused huge delays while the triple boogied every hole...This really surprised me because they were club members..
Very nice course
The course was very nice but it was disappointing that the tee off boxes were in poor condition. By that I mean the boxes were small, unlevel and the grass was really poor on them. They also need the display board at each tee off box that tells you the hole number, what par is and the yardage from each color of the tee box.
Great course
Great condition. Will play it again. Worth the prive.
rain day
We went out even as it was spitting
alot of wet spot after the downpour the night before
coarse was in great shape all my wedge shot were sticking just like on T.V
The thing I like the most is eack hole is like a pocket ,all you see is the hole ,not all the other holes and very few houses .
This course presents a Nice challenge
We had the chance to be paire up with 2 members who acted as our personal caddy. That was nice.
