About
Whitetail Golf Club enjoys a landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees, creeks, and ponds. Originally opened as a short nine-hole course, the layout was transformed into an 18-hole championship design in 2004. The update added a level of challenge to an already playable golf course. The first five holes are new, as are the last four. The layout has tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy and there are two tricky carries over water on the opening hole and the 17th. Both of these are par 3s that feature significant greenside bunkering that will test the iron play of even the most seasoned golfers. Whitetail Golf Club's sixth and 14th are two par 4s from the original nine that are particularly memorable since they play much longer than the indicated yardage.

Absolutely amazing conditions and greens
Whitetail
Played 4 times at Whitetail over the past week. The course is in very good condition, especially the greens.
Always good value for the money.
On the 4th day, the threesome in front of us was struggling and we were nearly 3 hours on the front.
The marshall spoke to them on several occasions, but their struggles and slowness continued. They should have been told to skip a hole at some point. Fortunately, they only played nine and the back was completed in 2 hours, on a busy day..
Whitetail is an interesting and fun course to play. Our go to course when visiting the area!
Wowed!!
Four of us played yesterday for the first time and we’re blown away by the shape of the course for this time of year. It was meticulous! As a matter fact, it’s probably the best shape out of any of the courses that my husband and I have played this year. We have played all over Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley but this was the best kept course. This is a real gem! It is a links style therefore challenging! The greens were quite fast. The staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient! Very nice practice area and absolutely stunning scenery all around! I regret not taking photos. It was really cold yesterday at 13° and windy. We will definitely be back… Often!

Great Value, Great Staff
Whitetail never disappoints. The staff at are always courteous and helpful. Owner is usually onsite and friendly. The fairways and greens are in great shape.

Course and staff are the best. I tell everyone I know to spend the time driving and go play the best course in the valley.
Challenging Course
Well maintained an very good conditions. Championship course with lots of slope and tricky layout. Requires plenty of thinking to make the correct shot.
Spectacular Shape
Whitetail as per usual is in AMAZING shape this year! Always a blast playing 18 here with challenging holes, great scenery and the most welcoming amenities.
Greens are PERFECT. Soft and fast. Maintained perfectly. I would say the best in the Ottawa Valley bar-none.
Probably my favorite course around Ottawa.
8th hole menu board is a genius idea. You can call your food in to the club house so its hot and ready at the turn.
(I recommend the burger which is delicious!)
Great selection of food and drink here! Be sure to check out the clubhouse after your round!
