Whitetail Golf Club
About
Whitetail Golf Club enjoys a landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees, creeks, and ponds. Originally opened as a short nine-hole course, the layout was transformed into an 18-hole championship design in 2004. The update added a level of challenge to an already playable golf course. The first five holes are new, as are the last four. The layout has tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy and there are two tricky carries over water on the opening hole and the 17th. Both of these are par 3s that feature significant greenside bunkering that will test the iron play of even the most seasoned golfers. Whitetail Golf Club's sixth and 14th are two par 4s from the original nine that are particularly memorable since they play much longer than the indicated yardage.

Great
We enjoyed it very much.. lovely holes...a long course
Father Son day
Whitetail staff were very friendly. It is a well kept course with a bright and clean clubhouse. For those who want to get a golf game in up in the Eganville area, Whitetail is a nice place to spend a day golfing for sure.
Good value
In defense of the golf course it was very wet, some very good holes but one extremely tough hole required a perfect club choice guess. I liked it and would play it again
Awesome!!
Love this course. Makes you think, it's. Not just a grip and rip course. Despite a couple shorter holes that make you wanna hit driver! Staff is fantastic. I have been playing there since it opened! Even with all the rain the valley has had this summer the course still remains in great shape due to the hard working staff.
Whitetail, Eganville
A nice course. Probably wouldn't recommend for a beginner.
Beautiful course.
Whitetail is a beautiful course with lush fairways and greens that are in fantastic shape. The course offers several challenging water holes. It was a pleasure to play today.
Very well maintained
This course is in the best shape of any couse that that I have played this year. I would jump at the chance to play it again.
excellent greens
Beautiful layout. Course is in excellent shape. Greens are very fast but soft so flying at the pin is no problem!!
Diamond in the valley
This was a very challenging course with greens faster than they looked be ready for a challenging round if the holes guy is in a bad mood. Very nice staff on arrival and the first tee. Quirky starting with a par 3 on the first hole but overall very challenging but fair layout if you can hit the right spots. I think a second crack at this course knowing where to hit on the blind shots would definitely help. Some maintenance issues like tees being in the same spot for days lots of ball marks on greens and sch but pretty layout on lots of holes. Be sure to save some energy for the back nine holes 15,16 and17 will take it out of you. Excellent course for the value but highly recommend an early tee time as tricky holes on the front nine can create a log jam later on a busy day like the holiday I played on.
Scenic challenging quality course.
challenging course with large well maintained greens and lots of slope/elevation changes-, on the greens and fairways. Pro type course with various elevations and elevated tees and greens.
...better to take a cart on any day but especially on a hot day. Course is about 10 years old
This course looks even more spectacular than from previous years
I have been playing the Whitetail for a few years now and continue to be impressed by how courteous the staff is and how well the course is kept...from the lawn and green cutting to the nicely combed sand traps. However, more recently something else has caught my eye about this course.
Now, I'm not a guy who gets all excited about flowers and nice plants....but I'm finding that Whitetail has become rather exotic and more beautiful, thanks to whoever is planting those flowers and plants, which has added to the beauty of this golf course. With all those beautiful colours and well-planned landscaping around the tee box, you really don't mind the few occasions when you have to wait a couple more minutes to tee off. GREAT JOB!!! Best in Ottawa Valley
Beautiful course, 4* course and service
Sharpen your game
Best greens in the Ottawa valley by far....a true test of your golfing abilities and course management.
I highly recommend this course to avid golfers. As for beginners, take advantage of the excellent practice
facilities before you confront this great challenge .
Enjoy...

Wonderful course! I will play it again.
I thoroughly enjoy Whitetail Golf course. It is always in the best shape that it can be, well groomed, the greens are good as well as the fairways. The staff is excellent and I will be back.
