Whitetail Golf Club
About
Whitetail Golf Club enjoys a landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees, creeks, and ponds. Originally opened as a short nine-hole course, the layout was transformed into an 18-hole championship design in 2004. The update added a level of challenge to an already playable golf course. The first five holes are new, as are the last four. The layout has tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy and there are two tricky carries over water on the opening hole and the 17th. Both of these are par 3s that feature significant greenside bunkering that will test the iron play of even the most seasoned golfers. Whitetail Golf Club's sixth and 14th are two par 4s from the original nine that are particularly memorable since they play much longer than the indicated yardage.

Spring time golf
Overall a good experience. Got a round in between showers, warm temps.and no wind. Greens were very slow, but all looks promising for this year.
With few players on the course, it doesn’t get much better in the early spring.
Best in the valley
Course was in great shape. I love the layout with great elevation changes
will be back
Terrible course management
They put us behind a ladies year end golf tournament. When we went in after 9 holes to see if we could get a rain check for the back nine because it had taken us 3 hours to finish the front nine they said they could not because we booked with golf now . It has happened to us at this course before that they stick us behind a tournament without telling us.
Rainy Weather
Great course.....but we only got 9 holes in...staff could not give a rain check and golf now would not give a rain check.
great except for one thing...
they have this rule that you can't take the cart to your car to load up, put your shoes on etc.....caused us a little confusion at the onset. Staff explained that it was to stop people from loading up their carts with beer. What % of golfers actually do that?
best in valley
We'll kept course. A challenging course yet it is not intimidating. Nicely laid out course that is fun to play.
Great
We enjoyed it very much.. lovely holes...a long course
Father Son day
Whitetail staff were very friendly. It is a well kept course with a bright and clean clubhouse. For those who want to get a golf game in up in the Eganville area, Whitetail is a nice place to spend a day golfing for sure.
Good value
In defense of the golf course it was very wet, some very good holes but one extremely tough hole required a perfect club choice guess. I liked it and would play it again
Awesome!!
Love this course. Makes you think, it's. Not just a grip and rip course. Despite a couple shorter holes that make you wanna hit driver! Staff is fantastic. I have been playing there since it opened! Even with all the rain the valley has had this summer the course still remains in great shape due to the hard working staff.
Whitetail, Eganville
A nice course. Probably wouldn't recommend for a beginner.
Beautiful course.
Whitetail is a beautiful course with lush fairways and greens that are in fantastic shape. The course offers several challenging water holes. It was a pleasure to play today.
Very well maintained
This course is in the best shape of any couse that that I have played this year. I would jump at the chance to play it again.
Thank you for playing at Whitetail Golf Club on Saturday, September 23rd. I apologise for the slightly than normal slower play. I do remember speaking with you and I gave you the option to call golf now as you booked a hot deal and our course receives $0 from hot deals, so we do not offer refunds on them. When booking online, we are unable to notify you that there is an event on. Each person that called us to book their time was told about the event. Also, it was not the ladies that held up the course, it was very busy that day with the beautiful weather and the course was full. We hope you will return and if you contact me at info@whitetailgolfclub.ca, I will see if I can get you a round this fall without an event on.
Thanks,
Derek
