Whitetail Golf Club
About
Whitetail Golf Club enjoys a landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees, creeks, and ponds. Originally opened as a short nine-hole course, the layout was transformed into an 18-hole championship design in 2004. The update added a level of challenge to an already playable golf course. The first five holes are new, as are the last four. The layout has tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy and there are two tricky carries over water on the opening hole and the 17th. Both of these are par 3s that feature significant greenside bunkering that will test the iron play of even the most seasoned golfers. Whitetail Golf Club's sixth and 14th are two par 4s from the original nine that are particularly memorable since they play much longer than the indicated yardage.

Poorly designed for the average golfer
Course is very long. Unfortunately people are unwilling to move up to fit their play.
Lots of blind shots where you are unable to see the group in front of you but not only that you can't see where your ball lands which decreases pace of play.
When I flagged to the staff that the pace of play was extremely slow.. they responded with it is what it is.
Over 5 hours to play a round on 18 holes on a Thursday morning is ridiculous.
Best Course I’ve played in the Area
Drove a 1hr 30mins to play this course
Well worth the drive
Prices were great
Course is in great shape
Staff is Awesome
Will definitely be playing again.
Great track, tee boxes in rough shape.
Always play here a few times in the summer. Great layout and conditions, although it appears as though they lost or are just redoing all the tee boxes which was annoying.
Nice golf course
Nicely laid out golf course. Quite challenging but fun to play. Good variety of holes. Good fairways and excellent greens. Staff is very helpful. The course does play long for the average golfer, but is but still fun to play.
Great Course - Overvalued for the money
Great course, in fact, one of the best landscaped courses in the Ottawa Valley at Toronto prices. Very expensive!
Great golfing
We thoroughly enjoyed our round, but chose a super hot day and got over heated. We will be back.
Afternoon Tee Times At Your Peril
Usually love this course. Today was a different story. Foursome a few groups ahead were ridiculously slow. For some reason never let anyone through. No Marshall to help. 5 hour round - ughhhh
